Hiro Mashima is a very good mangaka, but this story is just not good enough. This story did have potential but because of its length it didn't turn out quite good.

The art was very basic, but you can definitely recognise Mashima's style.

There are only 4 characters, which is ok for a one-shot. First up are the protagonists, Zephyr is the hero of the story (like Natsu in fairy tail, ...) with Sol his sidekick wolf, of whom we know nothing about. On their quest for treasure they encounter a statue that suddenly comes to life, Raina becomes their friend. Then they encounter Zarius, the demon god who got defeated thanks to Raina's sacrifice and they defeat him in a very boring way, end of story. read more
