I've always enjoyed the Legend of Mana game and mana series in general. However Legend of Mana has always been a favorite of mine. This is because of the many characters you get to learn about in the story, the same goes for the beautiful manga version.
After finding the manga after playing the game multiple times I was excited cause I would get a chance to learn even more about my favorite characters from the Mana world. From Bud and Lisa's sillyness to Sierra and Larcs seriousness, each story embedded inside the manga is quite similar to the game. However, if your one of them people who think the manga is not worth it just because you think you know all there is to know, your quite wrong and even still, you would be missing out on a lot, including beautiful art, extra story telling, a fun main character and more indepthness to your favorite characters!
Having the story take off into one direction and then upon conclusion it spins into a new direction, some would think this is to much or to silly, but after continuing to read more and more of LoM I began to love each and every adventure Toto went on with his new found companion, becoming friends with them and meeting more new fun people.
Each adventure though spins into one web though and as long as you give it a chance I am positive you all will enjoy every bit of this wonderful manga version of Legend of Mana!
If you like fantasy, adventure and silly antics please do give Legend of Mana a chance! Any true mana fan will absolutely adore this. read more

Legend of Mana is probably one of my most favorite games, so its really exciting to read the story in manga form as well. There are a few things I like about the manga, including the wonderful art and seeing all our favorite characters move around a bit more then just as sprites. Although the main character of the game is a lot more serious, its a little refreshing to have him turned into such a fool for the manga. I love how serious the game is, but for the manga, the humor is well placed.
Except for one thing... there are too many poop jokes. What the hell... why are there so many poop jokes!? It doesn't make any sense. Its probably the most distracting thing in the manga.
This manga would definitely get a 10 from me, because of both quality and nostalgia... except all the awkward poop jokes. That brings the score down a bit. I would recommend this manga, even if you haven't played the game, because it follows the main story lines very well. read more
