SynopsisZero no Tsukaima's story follows the life of the female protagonist named Louise who attends an academy for those who can use magic as a second year student. In this world, those who can use magic are either a mage or a noble. Everyone else is a commoner and is not treated equally. She is unskilled at the craft, which means she can never use her magic the way she wants to and has been dubbed the name "Louise the Zero", due to her current success rate almost always being zero. Early in the school year, the second year students get to summon their familiars; this is considered a special day where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner, which usually is some sort of creature. Louise manages to summon a human male named Saito Hiraga from Earth, leaving Louise totally humiliated. She treats Saito as any other creature, making him sleep on the floor and eat leftovers, and beats him with a whip, among other things. One day Saito challenges a noble who disrespects commoners to a duel. Saito is beaten badly at first, but once a sword was put in Saito's hands, he gained amazing powers and wields the sword with great ability. Louise and Saito, during the course of the story, face many mysteries and uncover unexpected truths. |

This manga is a must for all the tsundere fans out there. The characters are incredibly cute making for story setups that will have you smiling throughout the entire read. The story itself is deeper than most comedy harem mangas and will leave the reader satisfied and yearning for the sequel series which started just this year. Overall, a funny and interesting tale.

Boy suddenly have to attend a supernatural school, with him being the only "human" there. He meets a cute girl and sooner or later they begin to like each other and so on...Rosario and Zero share almost the same amount of romance, action, ecchi, and comedy.
Principally they are romantic comedies/harems, but they have a serious side story as background. Both about a guy that reach a "special" school (for mages and for monsters, respectivelly), and fall in love with the first girl he finds, but other girls try to sneak it.

both manga are held in magical schools and both protagonists have no magical powers to start. Though they differ with ZnoT having to deal with nobility and royalty in a different dimention and Mx0 dealing with magical zones and school bullying both are very good reads. So, if you enjoy one i believe that you will enjoy the other.
Both are magic-school-romance- stories about a guy who lives normal live but ends to a whole new world.
