SynopsisSakibara Eitaro is a 22 year old virgin. He's desperately trying to get laid - and that happens right at the beginning of the story with a girl named Maiko.
After that, Eitaro's relationship with girls change suddenly: he starts feeling more secure of himself and sex and starts meeting lots of girls. Three of these girls have a very important part in his life (Ninomyia Emu, Ide Miho and Jii Shinako) and his love adventures revolve around those women.

Reviewing till chapter 55, rest not scanlated yet
[Specialty: Story-telling and material]
[Notables]
Romance:4-5/10
Yes, there is actually romance, though not very significant till chapter 55. Most go by unrequited love and accidental events that sometimes do not get resolved.
Ecchi:9/10
High standard. Not cheap sexual scenes only, common in borderline hentai, but a deeper understanding of some techniques and psyches.Physical ecchi content is heavy too.
Story progression: 6/10
Not a very clear notion. Concept jumps a bit here and there. Sometimes it's like Virgin na Kankei, where the male guy character has a lot of female acquaintances jumping on to him and clingling, although in Love Junkies, the guy has more self-restraint and responsibility.
In other times, it seems a bit like Gakuen Heaven, where the guy somehow, at the right time mangaes to save damsels in distress, and occasionally picks a few girls up from then, though usually unintentionally.
Harem:8/10
Interesting harem. Not the cheap kind in a lot of mangas and animes where a lot of girls are introduced but not developed. Love Junkies takes a very sophisticated approach in handling the harem. Eg. they usually do not appear at the same time and most of them do not know one another.
Problem is, the girls sometimes do unexplainable stuff or disappear for ten or more chapters then reappear again, without much recap, so sometimes the reader may have already forgotten them and it gets confusing.
Plot:2/10
Till chapter 55, there's only a few of chapters hinting at a plot. Chapter 34 to 36. Not gonna reveal what it is :P. But the story had expressed quite clearly what it is till 55.
---------------------------------------
Story:7/10
Up till somewhere around volume 5, the manga seemed to still be in quite a lot of introduction, with a lot of new characters appearing for the first time, or disappearing then reappearing for some *event*. Sometimes by the end of some events, I could scratch my head since by the next chapter there was no mention of the previous event. Which is very puzzling.
From volume 5 onwards, it's clear that the manga was ready to move on to a deeper storyline, one more of understanding various characters to a continuation of the relationship between Eitaro (main guy char) and some previous girls. Character development A*.
Btw , it's getting more and more interesting, might have several more twists along the way, and definitely, by the author's storytelling methods, makes it for huge potential to come.
Art:7/10
Very detailed facial expressions and character drawing. But needs some more work of facial expressions, not dramatic enough at times. Seeing this is started from 1999, the art seems a little old-fashioned, buit it's understandable :D.
Not too exceptional art, but detailed (which takes a lot of time and effort to even draw one panel).
Character:8
Tons of characters introduced, some go missing for several chapters after being introduced for only 1 chapter. Tons of character development though, it seems like the character development is spread out rather evenly among all characters.
Each character gives off a rather unique feel, and this makes the story more interesting. Different problems, different approaches of doing things and different personalities.
One complaint is that some actions are weird but not explained, destabilises personalities.
Enjoyment:7
Good overall, unique manga, it's probably hard to find a manga very similar to this. But have some heavier and unexplained (puzzling) parts.
Overall:8
Overall feel is a 8, although just by story it would be a 7.
By the way it seemed like the chronological system was a bit weird, I thought that there were 2 21st century countdowns(Chapter 7 page 9 and chap 32 page 21) in the manga, till chap 55. And white day was not featured (mentioned in chap 34, in chap 37 passed the date already), I think. Or did I miss a chapter? Lol...
Read this if you like Hishoka Drops or Virgin na Kankei.
Some good comedy in there too :D
PS. The side stories are good :D.
And phew, tough review to churn up.== read more

Both have male protagonists that were quite unpopular with girls, but somehow become chick magnets later on.
Both are borderline hentai. Similar happenings of harem in both mangas. Virgin Na Kankei is more focused on ecchi stuff while Love Junkies is more on the psyche of the people involved.
Love Junkies has a much deeper storyline than Virgin Na Kankei and is heavier at times.
Both feature circumstances in workplace as well as out of it.

They both have a high level of sexual scenes. The characters also have similar personalities.
