Unless you've played the game you probably won't understand the ending. Maybe when the subs come out it might be easier to understand...

Kinda of a mess the last half of the series, but this last episode wasn't too bad...

Ahhhh so Mashiro really came back? and that hint in the last minute, was it Mashiro and Yuuri still? I dunno but I think it's still Yuuri cuz he's wearing the same helmet...

I wanna read the manga, is it out yet?

This series has been horribly generic throughout (with the exception of the first few episodes) but the ending wasn't too bad. So I guess Yuuri got to be with Mashiro eventually in the end? That's really the only actual question I think the series has given all season... anyway, 4-5/10 for the show. Like many others have said this show could have been alot better.

It looks like we are several hundred years in future and Yuuri is still alive, maybe thanks to his high concentration of celestial energy.

Ps - Nue's ending part was great as always.

The wedding scene could have been way better. Anyhow, a nice ending. Not your average non-finished eroge adaptation. Okay, perhaps it's average, but at least it's finished.

DragonWisp - exactly, it's finished.
As to wedding ceremony - GREAT, just GREAT. Especially the part when they were sure Mashiro is going to die... talk about short human life and river styx - so heartbreaking.

normal predictable ending, with a weird scene at the end
when you see a look-a-like mashiro yurri on a cool looking bike riding on a destroyed landscape.
the wedding was cute, it sums up the cuteness of this series
but i rooted ameri x yuuri :P
overall 7/10

but I liked that

Over all a cute anime though nothing too special about it. Good for passing time. There could have been a lot better. I expected a lot more though. It just felt really rushed. Might have been better had they spent more time on it and longer than 12 episodes. Still I like it. Still adore the art work of the visual novel.

I don't get it at all.

Ok so former enemy dragon guy tells yuuri that he used so much power against him so he should be able to do something to save her. then they hold hands and there is some bright light that looks really impressive. so of course i assume that that light was him using his power to save her, but then she "dies" anyway? what did he do there if not save her? If the birds uses other people strong in celestial energy to recharge their batteries, why couldn't she use the now ultra powerful yuuri to get enough energy to survive?

Is that really yuuri in the far future? how did he survive that long? was the super impressive looking power from before something to make him immortal?

Not sure what i expected though as the rest of the series wasn't exactly stellar either to say the least, but the rest of the episode was clearly leading up to her being saved so i was quite surprised when in comes the "oh mashiro died and yuuri became immortal" ending came up.

It's probably better not to understand it and just leave the explanation to DBZ explanation of... "it just can happen"... and leave it at that.

this was decent 6-7 but this ending was epicly bad. I'm giving it a 5. the dbz fight of him and ooryu just ends like that and ameri gives up and he doesn't even say anything about her feelings. the normal kid having super powers and then she just dying or whatever happened... meh. not a very satisfying ending.

ameri > mashiro still

I think everyone was expecting way too much from this anime. Of course it was going to be generic and predictable. That was pretty obvious without even watching a single episode. I didn't start watching this series to see something that would absolutely blow my mind. It was very light hearted and sappy and had cute little creatures, just as I expected.

The ending was quite unexpected though. I don't think Mashiro was going to go into another deep sleep again and I also didn't expect Yuuri to actually pick between Ameri and Mashiro. Ever since the first episode when it was clear that Ameri liked him, I figured this series would end in typical love-triangle/harem fashion. The fact that it didn't, he picked the girl I liked, and this cute little episode, I changed my 5/10 to 7/10.

Falatorx - mashiro had not died, she was just put into sleep in her stone again to restore celestial energy or sth. Bear in mind, that probably the same happened after last battle more than 500 years ago.

Yeah that is why i said "died." The effect is the same basically, she ends up disappearing from the face of the earth for probably thousands of years (until the surrounding area is flooded over and abandoned and people drive flashy motorcycles). That result was exactly what the series was foreshadowing would be stopped by our annoying hero, instead he made himself immortal, likely so he could use and abuse Ameri more.

To be honest, this kind of ending is to be expected. After all it's a cliche'd eroge adaptation,
1st episode wife (To love ru?)
love triangles (too many to list from)
mediocre school boy and a pretty wife/girl with magical powers
(well at the very least he wasn't just uselessly sit there and leave all the fighting to her, unlike some series.)
ending solved mysteriously

but again, i'm happy that it's finished, that's all. And the character designs are not bad.
Nue/Ameri/Mashiro are all well designed I think.

The thing is, he isn't immortal. He even admits it. If he was then his descendent's that had the same level of power as him would still be alive. Now the other thing is Yuuri says he will love no other women, so that cant be his son either since he would obviously have to have a wife or g/f ;). So the ending contradicts it's self.

As for CG R2....the ending is open to interpretation with no clear answer. Lulu could be immortal or he might be dead.

This series started out pretty good but as a whole it was pretty bad. I think the only reason I enjoyed it was because of Nue.
