Ah well at least it almost felt like some plot was there...like the past episodes meant something ;) I think this analogy fits more than ever: It was like endless sex with no orgasm. Not bad but I was hoping for some other kind of ending. You know what I mean. |
| i thought this was pretty good. i waasnt expecting major story/character development in only 6 eps and i found the stories hilarious. the over-arching theme of getting a job, meeting the girl he'd like to bang at said job then running away - i feel if it had gone any longer would have ruined it. it was short and sweet, perfect for an OVA imo |

| Awww, even though the ending was to be expected still would have been nice to have a proper one, so in the end all 6 got together to help make the production possible. Nice enough anime ^^ |

| This series was way better than I expected. When I read the summary I thought "Oh its just another lame reverse harem series" but I was totally wrong! Kintaro isn't some lame characterless male and the girls are a little more than just fanservice with legs. Awesome series :3 |

| Great little series. I loved it when they were talking about how messy an anime studio is and then used actual photos of a studio and it's mess. I would of loved it if there were more episodes. |

| This was probably the best episode, I liked how he relied in every girl he met in the past episodes and how they were willing to help him out. This episode was the funniest and had the best plot, plus a satisfying ending. Overall I didn't like Golden Boy... But I'm glad I finished it, I was aboutt o drop it at episode 2 and and again at episode 4, but since it was so short I stayed with it. What saved this OVA for me were episodes 3 and 6, the show was just too silly, the comedy was just stupid and it relied too much on boobs and preverted moments to keep the viewer interested... Anyway, it ends with a good note since this episode made me laugh and end the series with a a smile. |

| I wish the anime hadn't recycle the first episode's idea two times almost three times but I still had a lot of fun. Kintaro reminded me of Onizuka. ☺ 7 or 6 I can't decide. |

| Excellent series. I haven't laughed this much at an anime since Seto no Hanayome. I really like it when all characters met in earlier episodes end up playing a role in something together at the end. Not just in this anime, but in general. Loved the ending and beginning and everything in between. |

| At the 1st part of the ep I felt like I can predict what happens next, c'mon there was the toilet scene again, and Kintaro will do their jobs for others, and after that will slip away like it happened before. But the latter part took this confidence from me) And though it looked a bit childish... Still I'm satisfied with the ending =) |

| Yeah it was a HILARIOUS series! especially if you see it in the English dubs! the voices alone will get you LMAO'ing its weird that its only 6 episodes, but it was fine. its one of those animes that you see in between GREAT animes lol and now I think I developed a fear of public bathrooms =P lol |

| The ending was somewhat satisfying that he continued traveling again to study. Nice to see the previous girls to help Kintaro. The toilet scene again. ROFL Eps 1 , 3 and 6 have great balance of comedy and good deed moments. While the rest were still funny but the "golden" side of story aren't that good. Overall, it so educational. :D |
| Yeah, it was pretty cool to see all the ladies he's helped from the past show up and return the favor. And I really laughed at how they all went chasing after him. It was quite educational. |

| Wow, this series was pretty good, i think I'll probably give it an 8/10. I'm glad I discovered it. A sweet Anime, at the end i guess he ran away because he thought they'd blame him for screwing up the film XD, poor guy. I can't decide which episode was/is my favourite, they were all so good. All the girls fell for him, nice. Then again, he is the . . . GOLDEN BOY |

| Nice setting What so not boring about this is the shifting pace of Oe's life = educational love the part where the team recognize his drawing skills and begin to draw *that's a real left over food haha Omg! all the previous episode had joined forces, this is really what I want to see but then again Oe left the most important ending STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! I want some more!! |

| Why is there only 6 episodes of this?! I could watch like 20 more episodes of this... Also, while it was good, I still think that Kintaro should have gotten laid at some point... 5/5 Awesome, but short, series! |

| It was awesome to bad there wont be a second season and it will be better if they have all the girls in the manga to make it longer but I really loved the ending where Kitaro leaves again P.S in the end, the way Chii said that they would meet again i thought it would be a second season but it was just my imagination |

| Great episode like the other 5 ones! At some point, I wished he had a serious girlfriend, but that would bungle the whole story of each episode. This anime is definitely a must rewatch one! :D |

| Was a great conclusion to this short series and was really clever way to bring back all the girls/connections he had made throughout his previous jobs. Though, from what I've read so far, this never happened in the manga (and there is SO much more adventures with Kintaro) but still felt like a nice way to end its run. One thing I wanna say though, anyone here ever notice how at the end of every ep, the narrator or whoever says that "And one day, he may very well save Japan/the world" Who here thought it'd be funny to actually see a episode/special where he uses all his skills learned to actually save the world from something? LOL, maybe that'd be going too far out from the sorta grounded in reality feel the character/series was going for, but still... |

| This episode was bloody stupid probably worst one of the series. Anyways, study study study study study. Btw, I don't think Kintaro actually kissed any of the girls in this right? Damn shame because most of them seems to be interested in him one way or another in the least. 5/10. |
