| Seriously? April 1st is over in most countries. It's quite a generous average score for this mediocre show. You should've posted it after the show is over. Few good episodes among many sub-par ones don't make an 'awesome' show. |

It isn't for everyone though I personally love this series it my top favorite Gundam along with SEED, Zeta, and 00. What pisses me off is when people bash it by just the trailer and character designs itself and call it childish. While this series is directed toward a younger audience than the norm it is not a kiddy kid show like SD Gundam cause if it was AGE would have aired in the morning slot instead of Sunday evening. The rating is quite truthful actually. You may think is awesome but you are the weird one. There are a lot better shows than this. It's fine for killing some time but nothing more, exactly what 6.7 is in Mal grating system. |

Its not weird to like this show its personal taste some may think AGE is awesome. Some might think its just to past time when there is nothing else better to watch. A few people may hate it cause they couldn't get into the characters or plot which is understandable cause I can't get into Gundam 0079. Then there are the fucktards who hate it solely for the character designs and nothing more. AGE has one of the better stories in my personal opinion, but I don't think any Gundam can beat 00 (just the TV series movie is decent at best) in my mind. Victory might though it depends when I finally get around to it. xD Depending on how Kio's arc goes the rating will either stay in the 6.00 range or get bumped up to a 7.00. |

| I also dropped the show after about a dozen or so episodes. I find it a bit light-hearted and clearly aimed at a younger audience (it gives off a kiddies show vibe), so not really my cup of cake. The first few episodes were okay, but it became very dull and repetitive afterwards, for me at least. |
| The rating will likely go up when it's done. Still though, I agree! It's way too low! It's just the same as other Gundam series. In fact, I'm enjoying this more than Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED. |

I hope it does its a good Gundam, but the fanbase is too stupid to realize it follows the same formula like every other show in the franchise, but choose to hate on it simply cause of the character designs and the fact that its geared toward a younger audience than normal. Well as long as I can get the complete story without this one being canceled I'll be fine. I mean if SD Gundam could go through 52 episodes with its TV ratings and poor DVD sales AGE can do it too. I'm sure the next new Gundam will suit everyone just remember they were trying something new with AGE it can either be well received or badly received. They will learn from that and hopefully Sunrise will make the next Gundam that the older Gundam fans can enjoy as well as the ones that are new to the franchise from watching AGE. AGE to me seems like its trying to draw in newer fans outside of the usual target range and hopefully make them interested in other Gundam series like 00, SEED, and Zeta. Gundam AGE gets a 8/10 from me so far for story and characters. It would have been a 9 from me if it wasn't for the Fairdain arc in the first gen, but after they left the colony AGE became awesome. |

| it IS a pretty standard gundam. It has the military, the Feddies, space, fights, tyrannical antagonist, white and blue gundam, young hero (again...). Also, little to no CGI. Whew, that's a plus for me. Majority of criticism, before it aired, had to do with how cutesy G-AGE entirely looked. Also, compared to G_SEED (oh, gorefest), not much violence? Is that what's wrong? And Kira Yamato still seems popular among gundam fans. Maybe it's the SEED (and 00) syndrome that's dragging AGE? |

For an actual Gundams, you must say, ONLY the MC pilots a Gundam = Only One (two, but thats one more a upgrade) for Gunplabuilders and so on. Look at SEED. How many Gundams got they? FIVES in first episode, + three (those crazy druggy kids) + 3 final Gundams (Freedom, Justice, Providence). 11 Gundams in total (Strike Rogue = Aile Strike for me). 00: 4 Gundams + 3 Thrones, kickass enemy mobile Suits (Flag > Adele) and so on. Didnt even count second seasion which even got more awesome ms. I know in the first Gundam there was only ONE GUNDAM, but heck, most Gundam fans dont even know that. They were spoiled by Wing, SEED and 00. Now, whats with AGE? We have the Gundam, ONE Mobile Suit of the Federation which is around equally (G-Exes/G-Bouncer), and what else? Genoace and Adele? Dude, those dont look cool (for the most, I like them). And yeah, after SEED and 00 they kinda expect something great, which they didnt get (ITS TOO CHILDISH OMG!). |

| The funniest thing is that Asemu is the oldest Gundam protagonist after Domon. Since this show's supposed to show three generations, it's kinda difficult to rate it by only watching the first one. It's like rating the whole Gundam trilogy by only watching Gundam 79. Guess that the main problem is that it's just another generic Gundam, which is the main reason why I'm really interested in it. I'm currently watching 00 and I just can't compare it to AGE. 00 has a more realistic story and they are focusing on lots of minor details, but it ain't done that well. And the characters are plain horrible. I'll always prefer Flit/Asemu over Setsuna. The MS designs are also better in AGE than 00. 00 may try to have a "realistic" feel on the designs, but in the end, most MS looked like heap of metal with arms and legs. As for the character design, that's just taste. I still prefer AGE over 00, as I'm not into homosexual looking guys (well, Lockon seems like the only non-homo guy in the whole show) or captains who cannot cover their breasts. Millais > Sumeragi. The only thing that's better in 00 are probably the action scenes, as it's just an action flick with robots. Doesn't really give that Gundam feel. Summary: Gundam needs to stay generic. Inexperienced boy meets Gundam. Having professionals pilot them just ain't funny. Just imagine Flit piloting AGE-2. He could single handedly destroy the whole Vagan fleet with the Double Bullet upgrade. But that wouldn't be fun, so we get the inexperienced Asemu to pilot it and struggle and get his superiors killed. That's why I'll always preffer generic Gundam (all of them) to Wing/00 where everyone has a Gundam that's practically indestructible if it's not for the plot. That reminded me of that one time in Wing, when a Gundam pilot piloted a MP Mobile Suit and it got indestructible as well lol. |

| I took a chance and made a review, rating 6 out of 10. The funniest thing is that Asemu is the oldest Gundam protagonist after Domon. Shiro, Domon, and Kou should be older I think. But Asem would definitely be one of the oldest. A lot of them are 15 or 16. |
