| According to Mainichi, Murata Mayu's manga "Nagareboshi Lens" was announced to get an anime adaptation. It will be shown at a live event of Ribbon Magazine next spring. At the event, an anime of Kasumi Yuko's manga "Marimo no Hana ~Sakyo Butoha Shogakusei Densetsu~" will be shown as well. Marimo no Hana manga official website Marimo no Hana is a battle action manga. | Finally. There hasn't been a new shoujo for a while now. This sounds really cliche, but then again most shoujo anime start out cliche but then turn out pretty interesting. Will watch. |

| Synopsis says: "a girl with zero experience in romance. Meanwhile, a boy named Yuugure is the most popular student..." There are shoujo anime which have an agonizingly similar synopsis and are good, but this is getting ridiculous. Does it always have to be the most popular guy in school? |
| I was very psyched about this! Nagareboshi Lens is one of my favorites* so hearing that it's going to be animated definitely brought happiness and at the same time, anxiety to me. Anyway, long explanation short: I was excited to see Risa and Yuugure's love story "come to life" but at the same time anxious of what the outcome would look like because if the adaptation was horribly done, I'm pretty sure I'd be disappointed in Murata Mayu-sensei and would probably look at Nagareboshi Lens in a different way. Fortunately, the adaptation was done perfectly so I really enjoyed this OVA. ♥ *And by that, I mean, one of the many series I enjoy reading and look forward to for new releases |
