Excellent episode and the first thing to mesmerize me is the following,

was there not a popular anime this references to? I saw these in another anime around and even Nadia had them.

BTW Image Stitches in the spoiler
The city ruins are wild. That rebel war was insane.

I wonder why Shinjuurou threw a rock at that dog? That scene just came out of nowhere...

I liked this episode more than last week's one. Glad it's two parts, the preview got me really excited. I really don't like the police lady (Izumi) though.

So much bullshit this episode. Whole 20 minutes of episode and case get's solved 5 seconds before the end, coming pretty much out of nowhere... though that was to be expect after Beato wannabe changes gender to ask a question.
Repeatable shit, i hope it gets at least more interesting.

I'm kinda enjoying Rie and Izumi though, Beato wannabe isn't bad either.

What a great episode! I love how much detail is put in every episode especially the little hints regarding the incidentscausing the desolated state of Japan in this series really intrigued me.

There are so many interesting topics featured such as artificial intelligence and religious sects, cannot wait how they will resolve this case next episode. I'm certain , judging from the preview, that there are still some issues concering this case left to be resolved.

Also, I found it quite interesting that the first of Shinjirou's customer was seemingly a prostitute, showing that he is also solving some smaller cases aside the bigger ones.

great episode, i had a feeling that kazamori had a link to the AI stuff, but never knew that it was HIM.
but still, just LOL'd at how he phrased it, the AI does seem REALLY intelligent, if it can speak (well write) in that way (i think he said something along the lines of the cat is out the bag :p)

Anyways, whenever Inga is about to transform, its just EPPIIC!!!! XD

Anyone notice that Shinjurou looks kind of like Hei from DTB in the theme song?

And seriously, Kazamori's burning up, and before they figure out it's a curse they just call out to him?! He's burning, people! Ugh..

And why is Rie out on a horse?! This is a technology age! Why would they allow horses to come in but no vehicles!? Such stupid stupid fan service. Wow.

How are her mom and her so calm when the police are outside their house?

And I love how Urahara is the super smart guy ;)

Why does Inga get like that? Nothing even crazy happened and she's all, "I can't hold it back". Ugh.

How is she 'just a boss'. She's obviously not human! Think people! They're so shallow detectives..

Kazamori on the computer made me laugh :) I was expecting some out of nowhere (supposed to be cool -_-") ending like this.

SO STUPID. But at least this one was better to watch than the others.
I loved the ending song once again.

Well last two episodes were terrible, the first week involved a braindead mystery, the second week was slightly better, but still poor execution; they also seem to let the criminals go at the end... justice served.

Well that episode was slightly expected. Assumed the person under the bag was multiple people, not exactly androids, even though it was hinted at so heavily. Oh well, I guess this is the best episode so far, and that isn't saying much. The main problem with this show isn't the cases at its core, it's Inga, Such a character shouldn't exist in a "mystery" anime, the cheat code mechanic is somewhat game breaking, and she doesn't even use it for obvious questions like Do you know who killed X, etc. Also he's irritating.

I loved the first part of the episode. More world/setting development is always good.

The case was pretty interesting too. I thought it was the uncle after he tossed his cigarette into the corpse's outline, but I really wasn't suspecting it being an AI. I'm glad it'll continue next week, as there are some unanswered questions. Was it a/the Kazamori AI who caught on fire? If it was him why'd he do it? Is he still alive, as in his body is replaceable?

I also liked the rather sudden end. I didn't like how in the other two episodes there was about five minutes where the murderer just sat there crying about unfairness and all, but I suppose he couldn't really do that this episode.

Anyway, this has solidified my 8 rating, and if it keeps up at this pace it'll definitely be a 9.

No murder here, since the son was an AI that is still "alive". However, who killed the father? That seems to be a bigger part of the mystery. Loved how the girl got around the regulations (not on foot, and not in a vehicle). This does not look like a society that has recovered (or even is on the way to recover) from whatever the conflict was that broke out. Parts of that city have been totally trashed--and there seem to be plenty of people squatting illegaly in the ruins (including our hero and Inga). I want more!

Although it did seem rather obvious it was an AI acting as his son, the keywords were given right on the open when the siblings never saw his face and he would wear that mask anywhere and his father was a lead AI scientist, it was rather entretaining.

Now, time to conect the dots and see how the ''murder'' of the son has any connection to the Father's ''murder'' (could be an accident or a suicide, you never know). Next episode will give you the hints to solve this ''crime''.

Eh, slightly better than the previous episodes, but still mediocre. And did the animators realize Inga is way too irritating? They clearly toned down her/his ridiculous expressions and sounds - and it helped.

Well it was hinted that he wasn't a human in the ep so I wasn't really surprised to find out. But if we go back the beginning there are a couple things doesn't make sense.

The dying of Komamori is look like a totally planned out by himself but what would he gain from this?
The dying of Kazamori is also like a plan to kill oneself but why?
Why did the mother and Kigihiko believe it was a curse when they actually knew he wasn't a human?

This is one of my favoite shows this season, but I really hate inga, the one queston he askes feels like a really cheap way to solve the mystery and makes it so you can't guess the ending which is something I hate in a mystery since one of my favorite parts of a mystery drama is when you figure out what is going on on your own.
Inga also provides the way to keep every episode under 24 minutes though :P
And I hope I wasnt the only one going nuts at the start of the episode when the guy was on fire, I felt like yelling "UMMM...HELLO HE'S ON FIRE; MAYBE GET A FIRE EXTINGUISHER, GET A BUCKET OF WATER...ANYTHING...NO...FINE LET HIM DIE THEN SEE WHAT I CARE" at the screen, the lack of common ense in that scene bugged the crap out of me!

I am liking this series. I stopped looking at it as a "detective" show quickly - I'm far more interested in how the show is really presenting the situation the country is in, with Yuuki and Inga nibbling around the edges of something very interesting.

(shrug) the girl froze - not an uncommon reaction - and the others either didn't care (what was he to them?) or knew he wasn't human.

The fact that he threw a rock at that dog kind of made me hate this anime a tiny, tiny bit. I mean, was that really necessary? What purpose did it serve?

Other than that, this episode was awesome. They're so entertaining that they fly by too fast =-(
And I'm glad to see this case is going to develop further. For some reason, this particular episode gave me the same vibe as Mononoke and all that's missing is the Medicine Seller, hahaha.

In reference to all the dog comments, I figured it was either a stray, in which case it would make sense, or it was to show he has good aim or physical strength, which might come into play later if he gets a gun or something. I feel that many of this anime's little details are important, whether it be to the background setting and world or to the characters or in most situations the case. I feel that they emphasized his actions a bit too much for it to just be some random unimportant thing.

Then again, I could just be looking into this too much. He might've just felt like being a jerk and throwing a rock at a dog.
