| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I knew that Yukiho wasn't going to make it through this anime without crying. Her reactions were priceless. Scared of everything and running away from the stage. The part with Producer giving her confidence was pretty nice though. The song Yukiho sang was ALRIGHT*. This is the version by Yukiho's old seiyuu, it's a little sad since it was the last song she recorded. The version used in the anime is a new one by Yukiho's new seiyuu, which hasn't been released on any CDs yet. The ED this ep is First Stage, Yukiho's image song. Pretty obvious choice for a Yukiho episode. I was hoping this episode would have Kosmos, Cosmos in it, but I guess they're saving it for later. LOL @ Hibiki riding the cow, and her having to leave it. Some other random songs - instrumental version of "shiny smile" was playing while they were driving in the van, and the song Yukiho couldn't sing at first was "My Best Friend". Takane narrating the preview, next ep looks interesting. |

| Event Phase Poor Yukiho, I was fearful for her life throughout the episode since men are always near and she could have died because of it, even the wimpiest man can scare her to death and look at how she pictures men they seem to be demons to her. Digging holes gag was there too. |

That does bother me now because I want to know more of the circumstances of Yuhiko of why this fear of males and don't tell me it's like with that girl in Working! Cause that would totally suck. |

While in Yukiho's case, she's more likely scared of her father personality. so, the cause is probably different, because Mahiru is not afraid of her Father, but Yukiho is. But this is just some speculations due to scarce background info. |

| Awesome episode. Hibiki taming the farm animals, Ami and Mami bringing the wrong case, Miki sleeping everywhere, Iori still with her bunny, and Yayoi acting cute (I focus on those 7 b/c they're my favorite). |

| Another good episode as always, I don't see why this show is receiving so much hate.. Miki, I don't know why, but her, Yukiho and Makoto are my most favourites. I guess it's because of their strong voices. In the meantime, I can't wait to see Ritsuko make her debut. |

| Good episode. Yukiho and Makoto are two of my favourite idols and we had a lot of them this episode. Next one seems to be centered in Takane and a cooking show. My guess is that the ED will be "Flower Girl". But crap, I want my Jupiter and 876 Pro. I NEED an ED with "HELLO!" and Ai singing "ALIVE"/Jupiter concert with "Alice or Guilty"/Eri singing "Crossword". |

| It was a pretty good episode. I did get rather annoyed with Yukiho's fear of men. I get that she had a strict father, but could that really cause someone to fear all men to that extent? She's scared of them as if she had a train ran on her on a regular basis before she got into the industry. :-/ |

| I didn't like this episode as much as the first two, probably because I'm not a big fan of Yukiho's type of character, but it was still pretty good and I loved the performance at the end. I was surprised though that Iori and Yukiho, the only two characters I didn't like from episode one, got their personal episodes finished first and second. Anyway, I put all my thoughts about the rest of the episode in my blog post, check it out if you feel like it! Also, next week's cooking episode looks really good, I wonder which girl it will focus on, though it seems like it will be Chihaya or Takane. |
| I didn't care much for this episode. I found Yukiho's fear to be very annoying after a few minutes into the episode. |
| I hate androphobic characters. They always annoy me. Whether it is in Working, Hoshizora, or this. I can't stand them. Ugh. At least her episode is out of the way. |
| I dislike androphobic characters too, but at least she didn't hit any of the men. In fact, by the end of the episode, her character showed a lot of growth and made me like Yukiho more than I did in the previous episodes. She broke out of her shell, and is even talking to guys now. I wish there was an explanation for her androphobia though. The animation was a bit cheap at times. (While Yukiho is performing with her back turned, its looks as if only the top half of her body is animated, and a lot of still frames are utilized.) But still nice to look at even with a few off-models. Liked the insert and ED songs. Yukiho has a nice singing voice. Yay! Next episode will be a Takane episode! She's my favorite! :D Extra points for the director of FLCL story boarding it. Plus I liked what I saw in the preview, their going to be on TV!?! |
| nice ep, even as a not yukiho lover. The new song was pretty nice. And I was really happy that they put "First stage" as ED song. This show wont disappoint me ^^ |

| A very K-on-like episode. Yukiho is a sort of Yui without self-confident. I ask myself if there will be one episode by character then final episode, or if it will continue for more slice-of-life continuity. |

| Pfff. Yukiho's fear of men is just so exaggerated. She must've had a bad experience with men in the past to develop such a phobia, but we don't see any of that explained at all. Same with the dog phobia. At least the producer had a reason for being bad with dogs because he was bitten when he was a kid. Not that great of an episode this time around. Good thing she opened up a bit more to the producer though. |

(The twins don't have their own separate versions of songs, they're all just "Futami" versions, since the seiyuu for both is the same.) Here's a video of her version. Agent Yoru o Yuku will definitely be in the anime, it's one of the more popular songs. It's actually Makoto's image song, so it could be in her episode. | I think i won't drop this. I actually really enjoyed this episode. Mami was sort of funny before, but she finally got a chuckle out of me this episode. Yukiho is a mixed bag, she is annoying but at the same time i sort of like her. |

| Miki was delightful in this episode as she always is XD And I agree with kuroshi_nazo that Yukiho was kind of annoying. Her and Makoto's ED don't impress me much |

| wow a show where the rie kugimiya character is NOT the most annoying. I can't stand the annoying scared girl. this was boring enough as is..... dropped. I guess I didn't expect much but some of the characters are really annoying. |

| A bit disappointed in this first 3 eps. It feels catering, didn't felt natural at all. Maybe I'm hoping for a wrong development? And the music is not that great either. |
