| Season 2 of Black Lagoon ended at chapter 43 of the manga, Roberta's Blood Trail is probably the adaptation of chapters 44-76(this arc is named El Baile de la muerte in the manga) and after this arc ends there are only 5 more chapters available and the manga is currently on hiatus, so bottom line, it will be long time(another 4 years or so!? no idea) till we get another season or ova. |

| Whoa I got a little too excited at the mention of anything Black Lagoon related. I've been waiting on the OVAs since I first watched the anime. My only problem is that I love the dub version and refuse to watch any until they are dubbed. If it does happen it will be a long time from now but I'm willing to be patient. Sadly as for anything after the OVA I don't think we'll get anything. After the OVA Black lagoon is probably done for good as much as it pains me to say that its just not that popular to warrant new releases IMO. But I've been doing my best to spread the word of Black lagoon. |

With most other anime I can switch between the 2 but I saw like a clip of it subbed and I just like "bleh" that's not what Dutch sounds like. |

| Surely, you can't be serious. I'd rather not watch an anime at all, than watch it dubbed. Especially so, when it comes to Black Lagoon. Revy's voice in japanese is half the character there, for example. Too characteristic voices, they cannot be replaced. |

| Thankfully I'm not like that. If an anime has a good dub then I'm just not going to watch it subbed because why? If the dubbers actually took the time and effort to make a good dub that won't insult the source material then I am going to watch it. For the most part a dub has to be above average for me to watch it. Like if I ask someone if the dub of an anime is good or not and they just say its alright then I'm not going to watch the dub. The only reason I watch anime subbed is only if the dub is god awful or there is no dub for it at all. The first time I watched Black Lagoon I watched it dubbed and since the dub was amazing there was nothing that was ever going to make me watch it subbed. To each their own I guess. |

| The anime's pretty much caught up with the manga (and they changed the ending of the OVA). I wouldn't mind a couple extra episodes of new material like how the anime made up how Rock got recruited. |

| Until the manga restarts the only thing they can possible due is animate the light novels. Make them into a couple of movies or an OVA. Having read the first light novel it would be epic! |
| I think Black Lagoon sells well in Japan so I'm sure once they get enough material they will make another season. I believe Hiroe is releasing new chapters again after his long hiatus (he stopped Black Lagoon to draw hentai -_-). So I wouldn't be surprised if we got a season 3 in the next 2 years. |

| Not for a LONG time.....if ever. The anime follows the manga. And Roberta's Blood Trail ends in chapter 76. The manga went on hiatus for awhile and just recently returned, but they're only on chapter 83. They would need a lot more material than that to make another season or OVAs. |

| I'm sure they'll animate the new manga as soon as they possibly can. I know that the mangaka has been hard at work on the newest arc (something about a tsunami if I remember correctly). This is one show that I could see go on indefinitely in small, bite-sized chunks. |

| it's been 5 years, the manga has hardly progressed past the end of the OVA. There was an announcement a couple month ago about about a new issue of the manga. But that still isn't nearly enough material for a 4th season. At the rate the author is going there probably won't be a fourth season of the anime. |
| Well before a season 4 can be announced we need new chapters there are only 87 so we will need about two more arcs including the current one to have enough for a new season,and for the mangaka to actually draw the chapters as well. |

| I've never read the manga yet but looking at the volumes and chapters of Black Lagoon it seems the mangaka was on hiatus twice since 2018 after Volume 11, Chapter 101 of Black Lagoon. I don't know exactly how faithful the anime was but mangaupdates states that the anime ended on Volume 9, Chapter 76 which doesn't seem like enough content for another season. It also seems that he started two other manga last year; 341 Sentoudan and Black Lagoon: Soujiya Sawyer - Kaitai! Gore Gore Musume. Surprisingly he's actually quite active on twitter but it doesn't seem from the little I've looked into that he's intending to resume Black Lagoon anytime soon as he's maybe focusing on Katai in Black Lagoon for whatever reason. |
