Will Freezing ever get an official release in English?

With the likes of Highschool of the Dead getting a English release not too long after the anime aired I was hoping this would too!

Any idea of who would publish it?

I also believe that Freezing will get an English release and besides, the original one has sold many copies.

HOTD English release was announced 2-3 episodes before the anime ends, so I think we have many chances.

Infinity Studios published Ux2 and Zero but they dropped them. Yen Press is publishing Kurokami, so it's most likely that Yen Press might publish it, if so.

Cool, I just twittered Tokyopop and Yen Press asking if they have any plans, lets see if I get a reply. If I do I'll post what they say.

I agree, I think it would sell pretty well.

I really hope we do get an English release

Hey. I asked both Yen Press (no reply) and Tokyopop

I asked
'Do you have any plans to release the manga Freezing in English? Someone surely must have plans, it would sell like hot cakes ^_^'

Tokyopop replied
'We didn't before, but we're happy to look into it! ^_^'

So.... I think that looks positive. I think they are now interested because of the anime release (which I'm not impressed with, the manga is far superior and they could have done a much better job on the anime, but meh I will complewte watching it)

I would honestly love a English release for this manga. I liked the anime and I've read some of the manga, it's pretty damn amazing compared to the anime! I would prefer to buy it though instead of reading it online. I love to collect manga and this would be a great addition to my small but growing collection!

jfc how come there isn't any way to obtain the officially translated digital books instead of hard copies that are nearly sold out? i don't wanna rely on subpar fan scanlations by amateurs either! if i'm gonna commit myself to read something this long, i'd rather experience freezing as interpreted by professionals.
