| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fucking awesome episodes. Episode 21 - Nice... it seems that before everything started... there was another human race which Garterbelt was born in. Episode 22 - Awesome, especailly the ending. I was sooooo ready to enjoy the closing theme Fallen Angels but i was shocked :O No credits sequence OH MY GOD! ZETSUBOUSHITA! Honestly... i was like "EH?!?!?! WHERE'S THE SONG?!" But great episodes enjoyed them real nice, they really want to leave earth and go back don't they... hm... maybe we're seeing clues as to what the ending will be... but i remember someone mentioning one track from the OST named "Corset Theme" and he/she interpreted it as some kind of spoiler... so i started wondering... Corset? Wow... Recently i found out about the Gainax Ending... i hope PSG doesn't fall victim to Gainax Ending... or else i'm gonna be depressed just like i was with TTGL D: I want a happy ending... but i doubt that's gonna happen... i bet Gainax is gonna go full-on crazy with the finale. |

| First half was one of the better episodes of the show, incredibly awesome song to go with all that crazy Garterbelt past stuff. The second half was one of the funniest episodes they produced but also gave insight on how much Panty and Stocking really care about going back to heaven. This looks to be setting up the finale, and I can't wait to see it all unfold. |

Got me curious. The most obvious thing that springs to mind would be 'green B = Brief?' But that raises the question of what he has to do with everything. Anyway, really liked the first half, got a little bored in the second. Fun stuff, as always. |

| I'm sure a lot of people will dislike the second half.. but I think it's a true essence of a slice-of-life definitely. It was awesome! Also likes learning about Garterbelt, I have a feeling that 'B' had to do with that one silhouetted guy who punished the Demon Sisters. |
| The second half of this week's episode was great. I love the fact that this show can pull off such a variety of contrasting styles in its presentation yet retain its central identity. Bravo I say! |

| Some people won't like the second half of this episode, but I thought it was great. I've only ever seen something like that in Gintama and those episodes don't even have animation. This had so much happening in a small room that it became enjoyable. Garter's history was pretty interesting on the animation front too. "I must not let them see me in this BDSM, I mean this sacred ritual" :D |

| i watched the second half about 3 times now and fuck, i'm still not tired of it. god, i love the over-kill on the english swearing. "fuck this guy fuck that guy fuck those guy fuck fuck fuck fuck" this episode single handedly beat the crap out of that slice of life anime they call lucky star, and the background never even changed. i like how they reminded us about them going back to heaven and their actual desires. i kinda forgot that the heaven coins were there so that they can go back to heaven. and yeah, i can already tell the ending of this show will not dissapoint. |

| OK episode. Part 1's narrative about Garterbelt was something we were probably waiting for. The whole jab at the history of Earth was pretty amusing. I didn't really like Part 2. Just a bunch of running gags that already got old two months ago. Furthermore, Engrish profanity is not funny period. It's really just generally a poor choice the show makes. Casperkid said: Beating Lucky Star as a slice of life isn't what I call a significant accomplishment, aside from the fact that Lucky Star is mind-bogglingly overrated.this episode single handedly beat the crap out of that slice of life anime they call lucky star, and the background never even changed. |

| I was reminded of the technique Alfred Hitchcock used in the film Rope for the second half of this episode (the whole story was presented in one long, continuous scene) even though there were a few timeskips here. I never get tired of Panty's engrish. So gooood. Fuck. |

| Well now we see more of Garterbelt's past and how he became a missionary for the angels. A great recap seeing how mush he had to suffer. You gotta feel bad about the guy, especially when he's in bondage (VERY CREEPY O_O) The 2nd part was not as great, but it did entertain. This SOL episode had its moments of hilarity, but it could have been done better. AND I LOVE A ENRAGED STOCKING! RAGEEEE! XD Overall: 4/5 |

| with all the engrish swear words in this episode how can I not love it.. <3 but I got to say the recent episodes comes off as rather weaker than the first ones for me.. I guess they put the most appealing ones at the start to attract attention, and maybe the the weaker middle ones to put more emphasis on a hopefully EPIC ending.. |

| Loved garterbelts story. Awesome Scarface tribute from beginning to end, and then living through the entire history of the earth XD Then came the second part and it was just as great. slice of life at it's best. Their dialogues and engrish is just great. I love it! I'm patiently(!) waiting for the the conclusion and hopes that it will be mindblowing. |

| The first part was pretty good. I liked Garterbelt's history, but it cracked me up when at the end, he was parodying Jesus's pain on the cross with BDSM thrown into it. The second part on the other hand... ...that is the real Marmite of the show. More Marmite than its ever been for the series. Some people will get bored because 'nothing' goes on and what they watching is equivalent to watching two people on the sofa, talking. I liked it because of that. It was unique in a way that nothing interesting was going on that it was interesting itself. Yes, I'll say it. The fact that NOTHING INTERESTING GOES ON IS THE INTERESTING PART. It was just Panty and Stocking talking about trivial things, but it was trivial things I kinda laughed at. I really liked it when Panty wanting to construct poles so to climb into heaven. It was kinda like seeing what Panty and Stocking do when they are at home on a Sunday night, which let's be honest, a lot of us do spend our time at home like that. |

| BEST EP. The first half was fun for the girls trying to enter the lair, and Garterbelt's wonderfully animated fake world history, and then the second half was slice-of-life awesome. Panty's and Chuck's antics were the best parts, but Stocking and Brief were also hilarious just for being themselves. |
| Amazing week. We finally found out more about Garterbelt's past. I always wondered what bad things he did in the past to become a priest, because almost all priests from movies, anime and so on did something bad first and then they repented or at least tried. I wonder what does the two arrows mean. The second part was really enjoyable. I loved how they try to re-invent Arthur C. Clarke's space elevator. |
