| Now that was a phenomenal ending to an outstanding comic! I'm so impressed with Veritas; at first, it was just a really fun shounen with cool characters and funny quotes. Later, as it became more involved with the political intrigues of Vera and the traditional successors, introducing new characters, and consistently defying predictions, it became something truly special. It's almost like an "anti-shounen", taking every cliche from the genre and either mocking it, or doing the exact opposite. What about that tournament for deciding the Student Council? Never happened! The expected showdown between Vera and Gu Honse? Never happened! It's obvious the writer improved as he was writing "Veritas". I give out 9s and 10s extremely rarely, but I have a hard decision about whether "Veritas" deserves to up from an 8 to a 9 after its sensational conclusion. Might have to rewrite my review, too. And of course, I dearly hope we will see a Part 2! |

| hmm him teaming up with vera is impossible since she has become the ultimate bitch. But i dont see how he would team up with vera's sister as well... maybe if she changes her ways? but most of the remaining are traditionalists not reunion so how is vera's sister going to get them to follow her. I think the final battle with vera and main character will come to nothing, prolly stalled for a final battle in the 2nd series. I think it would be good if the main character didnt end up siding with either sisters, would be good :) I say main character cause his name is so hard to spell lol |

| That was great. We didn't get the tournament or major fights but it was good. I'm kinda worried. It seems like things were not going well for the author and he had a harsh time to finish the first part. Can't say we will see a second part anytime soon, if we get to see it at all. |

| Last chapter was good, but I'm not convinced that any 'Veritas' ideology/philosophy has been sufficiently developed during the 81 chapters for the manga's title to be warranted. Following the author's convention, 'Lubido' or 'Volitio' are just as, if not more, apt titles for the manga. This issue aside, I agree that the fights throughout Veritas were decent, though it would have been nice to see even a snippet of action between Gang and Vera at the end. |

| Sorry ladies and gentlemen, however the artists had given up to continue the story, which means THERE IS NO SECOND SEASON or PART 2. Yup, you can hate me all you want, but i am not bullsh*ting you that this information is legit, all the other anime forum has discussed that those 3 artists had move on, and not gonna make Veritas anymore. It is quite a bit of disappointing. I almost flipped my table when they decided to end Veritas that way. |

| Wow...How gay. Honestly I kind of regret starting it now. I dont lack imagination but...to much was left open to just wish up an ending. especially since we dont really know how strong veras sisters faction can get again.. |

| I always lament that Veritas was discontinued, but whenever I see that last panel, I honestly can't complain. It really was a great ending despite not tying up loose ends. I love how the title "Veritas" ties up the entire story in the end. It's also worth noting that were LT probably would have been on Vera's side (considering his goal was always to stop Yuri's ambitions and he even removed Vera's seal), although I'm certain he wouldn't have agreed with the mass slaughter of children. |

Well, if we are speculating on what part two would have been, than I've got a few additions. Vera had to garner support from all the factions right? So that would be the 3 circle, the 4 idea, the 5 path, 6 combinations, 7 stars, 8 trigrams, 9 palaces. . Since this is manwha uses lots of taoism the missing 1 and 2 are: 1 the way, and 2 yin and yang. There are a whole lot of ki types left to discover Most being combinations of the dangerously unbalanced 5 elements. But Red dragon said that plenty were still loyal to Yuri, which is why he only needed to harm Vera's reputation as opposed to actually killing her. Yuri seeks to transcend the tao becoming a god. LT would have never let that happen and side with yuri. But most importantly, LT resisted because Yuri was destroying traditional martial arts. Vera however, only used restoring the traditions as a bargaining chip, that is not her true goal either. So I doubt LT would side with Vera's path. But, how I see the story progressing is a bitter struggle with the heaven's rich successors against reunion. Reunion had many other schools, don't forget about the american psychic school, and others throughout the world. With the same story model but on a bigger scale (Vera pt. 2 + Korean Traditionalists) is modeled after (Vera pt.1 + reunion student council) and on the other side (Yuri + Reunion and its global schools) are modeled after (Rud + Traditionalists within the school) Those two will battle for supremacy, while the 9 dragon survivors plus shinra fulfill the role of Gang from part one, a force that can tip the scales, but end up getting used by Yuri just like Gang was used by Rud and Honse in part 1. The key schism will be who chooses vengeance, and who values methodology. Also, in chapter 72 Northern Broad Strike Master said that the old fools still didn't grasp the true meaning of one inheritance. I have the feeling that LT did grasp the true meaning of this, which is why he never supported Vera or Yuri. Gang will have to follow in his masters footsteps and realize that through his own Veritas or whatever. If I wrote a part 2 it would follow the big story through Yuri/Red Dragon and the reunion survivors and not Gang. He'd would show up in the right time and place just to mess up everyone's plans then disappear again. Each time, tapping into Yuri's seal a little bit more and whispering a promise that one day he'd finish what his master had started, but that he doesn't "pick fights with those weaker than him". Finally, Rud being a bigger threat than Yuri/Red Dragon. Either, Vera actually believes in reunion's method's and therefore fears reunion and what its capable of creating (ie Rud). Or she knows from experience that Rud's planning is a force to be feared. Regardless, she covet's what her sister once had and threw away. Gold and garbage is used several times throughout the comic. It's a nice Yin and Yang between these two sisters. Yuri destroyed traditional martial art lines for the reunion, and Vera destroyed the reunion school for traditionalists. That's the whole point of "Veritas". Every character seeks his/her own truth. These truths often fuck over their friends, family, and masters, but they pursue it anyways. You can see this in Fire Dragon, Guesong, Hayato, etc. |
| Obviously way to set up for a sequel but alas, still no news on it. As for this series, it felt kinda average especially in the second half. Vera will surely pay for what she's doing though. Like, almost unforgivable... |
