| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Edit: Ahaha....... i should probably talk about the episode a bit eh ^.^;; one line describes this episode perfectly: Not Enough Maya D: Though this moment was awesome, lol: Episode 3 leaked out somehow via youtube, of all websites. Oh, btw this was a leak of multiple episodes of several shows. Read all about it at ANN (link here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-07-14/naruto-fairy-tail-occult-academy-leaked-before-airing) I kind of wish that this episode wasn't leaked. There's suspicion that a US company might've leaked it, and this might affect our simulcasts in the future. I really hope that is not the case; after we finally start getting online legal alternatives to fansubs, a scandal like this occurs. Edit: some people on ANN think it's a internal leak (as in, someone at TVtokyo leaked it). Perhaps an annoyed employee leaked it or something. Either ways, I'm worried about the repercussions to this. Edit 2: anime_n00b said: But then again.. Makes you sometimes think.. that a company does things like that for exposure? I mean I checked CR out right after that to see if its going to have a effect on airing times.. and Seikimatsu Occult was the new huge banner at the top of the page.. It wasnt before. Now that it's been about a week since the original leak, and since the episode still seems to be airing normally, perhaps your suspicions are correct. I don't know how well this show was received in Japan, but perhaps the leak was done on purpose for to increase interest in Japan. However, that doesn't explain why this was leaked together with Heroman and Naruto. >.<;; |

| Bad news. No awesome janitor today. Sucks. :P -As for the actual episode, it focused on Bunmei/Fumiaki as he deals with 1999. Mikaze was kind of cute but her voice was a little...eh...not annoying but just too pitched. -Best moment of the episode "I hook up with her" (takes photo. | I loled at the hook up picture scene and the whole 'My whole body has just turned into my arm' moment. He is such a dweeb! I love it. Kind of pissed at the cliff hanger thing at the end. |

| There was just one major thing wrong with this episode. To much Uchida, give more Maya Dammit!! The vice principle made me laugh tho, falling in love over a compliment about your hair. And a waitress that owns a Porsche 911, what crime syndicate does she work for? |

Yea waitress is suspicious of course with the car, but also apparently very emotional, I wonder how key she will be as the story progresses. Granted Fumiaki is kind of an idiot, but still has his moments. That phone's relationship possibilities would be nice to have...... |

| In terms of plot events we got nothing really. However there was a few surprisingly fun scenes this episode even without Maya + Abe intereaction. Indeed there is more than meets the eye for that waitress. Don't think she is a short term character since i believe she was in the opening sequence. |

Once again, the faces in this series are made of pure win. Pretty laid back episode, and I was a bit irritated with Fumiaki. I mean really, you'd think someone would try their best if it was their job to save the world. Love can wait! I was at least hoping he'd take some pictures of Mikaze with different intentions in mind. And speaking of Mikaze, I agree with the thoughts about her future role in this show...there's definitely more to her than what we're seeing. Also, her voice made me cringe a bit... Fumiaki, stop slacking :3 At least Maya's staying epic~ |

| I'm still not completely convinced. This series can become good/cool, but the main character needs to grow some backbone. It's almost aggrivating to see Maya just walk over him like a used rag. Also: +20 points for spotting La campanella - Lith. |

| "Why is he out here slacking off after I hit him so much?!" Maya is hilarious. And I liked this episode -- so many funny scenes. I didn't like the sudden, "Oh, I am in love with you!" bit from the vice principal (I'm not a fan of the sudden, "Oh, I love you!" swoon scenes with sparkly backgrounds), but the cell phone picture future was perfect ^^ Quite the change of pace from the first two episodes, but it should be interesting to see how this develops. And I hope the glasses girl isn't dead! Geez, first she gets possessed by the spirit, and then kidnapped by a moth? Or maybe something even more sinister, ha. |
