FAL Spring 10: Week 13 Results

Big thanks to Kineta and Xjellocross for helping out this week.

Points Criteria
Every week:
  • +1 point for each user who has anime under "Currently Watching" or "Completed" that week on MAL
  • Double the anime's "Currently Watching" points for the week if 4 or less players have it on their active team
  • +25 points for each forum post in the anime's episode discussion threads in the previous two weeks (counted every two weeks)


Scored Only Once:
  • +2000 points for each group that fansubs the anime in English (starting from 1st episode) Joint projects count only once. Fansub groups MUST have an IRC channel or a website to be counted.
  • -1000 points if dropped by a fansub group unless due to license
  • +1500 points for each group that fansubs the anime in English (starting after episode 1 of the anime)
  • -750 points if dropped by a fansub group that started in the middle
  • +10000 points if licensed in America during the season (restricted to 1 (one) license per anime). If anime is licensed before season begins then points are awarded in first week. (Licenses shall be defined by AnimeSuki's License Database excluding Crunchyroll "licenses", which are counted as a sub)
  • +1000*(unweighted score) points for score ratings on MAL upon Week 7
  • +2000*(unweighted score) points for score ratings on MAL at the end of FAL season
  • -5 for each user who has anime under "Dropped" upon week 7
  • -10 for each user who has anime under "Dropped" at the end of FAL season
  • +30 points for every user favoriting the anime at the end of FAL season

137, bad but not as bad as last season. damn you angel beats, didn't bother checking for a month really screwed myself. maybe if i do a bit of research and bother to check on a weekly basis i might do better

Don't worry about it, I'm only in first cos I'm an OCD freak who checked the news and updates on series weeks in advance every day, hell, that's the only reason I got 3rd last season as well. I gots me a set of rules.

Anyway, I'm still worrying about those counter-nukes Boursk mentioned weeks back, if one of those hits me I'll be last, I don't think I could handle that after all this careful calculation and time spent.

Ok, I followed Kineta's orders and waited, but it's been almost a week (as of this posting) since the final results should have been getting tallied, and Boursk hasn't been on in days.

Can anyone tell me what's happening with FAL?

Short answer: Boursk is missing, the FAL app is not online so we're kind of screwed and we don't know anything.

Long answer: See short answer.

Let's give it another week and if he's still missing, we'll figure something out.
