| YES YES YEEEEEEEAAHH Hayase and Hikaru! It was such a contrast to that time Hikaru got trapped with Minmei, even the situation being less dramatic-Hikaru trying to be the man to support and comfort Minmei, Minmei whining and being useless. Between Hayase and Hikaru, they try to blame each other then settle for waiting it out like calm, reasonable people, poke at each others' weaknesses, and comfort each other in mutual understanding. Being around Hayase even makes Hikaru more mature, reflecting on himself as she's prone to doing. These two have reached 'NEEDS TO HAPPEN' status. |

| Great episode, I've always found Hayase more interesting than Minmay as well. I mean, in many ways she is one of the most mature acting characters in the series and senerikfred pretty much described it best. Not that I dislike Minmay, it's just she's very immature when compared to Hayase. Also, the bond seems to be stronger between Hikaru and the latter. He doesn't feel as pressure imo and I think that's a definite good thing. |

| A night at the movies! ^^ Not realy. Kaifun =_= Hah, Hikaru is so enthusiastic he misses Minmay. Aliens watching the movie too! And that pilot woman, I'd like to see her confront Kaifun :) Max noticed the Zentradi woman :] Looks like another (awesome) love triangle in the making *chuckles* I love when they insert sneesing of person discussed :D Poor Shami. But she picked it up fast. So many Misa moments :3 I have nothing against Minmay but obviously I like Misa in essense much more. I still think Hikaru and Minmay are better pair, and Misa's interest in Kaifun is doomed (he is not that Raiber after all) Generaly she is as much down as Minmay is cheerful. She needs a serious romance, not an affair but as of now, they have a thing with Hikaru, I doubt it won't be short lived, more likely untill the Kaifun situation is resolved. |

| The plot is getting pretty interesting now. Macross forced to leave Earth and Zentraedi forces becoming miclones (humans) just so they can get on Macross. And Milia is alive! She was gone for a few episodes I thought she might really be dead. Looking forward to more of her saucy piloting skills ;D |
| Completely legal in most states, all provinces, and just about every jurisdiction in the world. This is the typical reaction in forums whenever a potential romance is shown between cousins, non-blood-related siblings, couples where one is older than the other (particularly when it is the female), and other non-standard relationships. No surprise that Minmay and Hikaru seem to be moving in opposite directions. Their careers are really taking divergent paths, and without a lot of interaction there isn't much that will keep them together in the long run. That hand grabbing by Misa pretty well seals the deal on a possible relationship with Hikaru. That makes it two long heartfelt talks, and two kisses (plus the almost kiss of this episode), looks to me like Misa has an insurmountable lead. |

| Minmay misses Hikaru after she hasn't seen him in a long time even projecting Hikaru onto Kaifun when he was pulling her up. Makes me wonder whether she's maybe realizing that she maybe has feelings for Hikaru? Or maybe i'm looking into it too much and she just misses him as a good friend. It's happening!! The Misa X Hikaru ship is real! Loved that their relationship has grown into this real honest, fun, supporting relationship. But it's not real, not yet. It's a good thing the kiss didn't happen this episode as they still have to sort out their feelings for Kaifun and Minmay. They're using each other to comfort each other as they're both heartbroken right now, I want it to be REAL if they actually do kiss. senerikfred knows what's up! |

Quite visually uncomfortable episode this was..  And It's so stupid how every time after transformation the city is ruined, but everyone seems to be fine with that. |

| How bad do they want to put Hikaru and "obasan" together. -_- First, they use Hikaru's happiness to trigger a misunderstanding when Minmei has almost reached the point where they could mesh well together again and then a missed Hikaru/Hayase kiss is coming out absolutely out of nowhere? And while I'm on this subject, Hayase's confusion about her boyfriend and Kaifun is far too strong. Apart from that, this Shao Pai Long song is silly (as expected since it's the movie's theme) but sounds great. 2.5+/5 (thanks to the song) @CodeBlazeFate Does the love triangle resolution seem as artificial as the Hayase / Hikaru setup in the series ? edit @CodeBlazeFate Great, there is hope then. ^^ This "almost-kiss" in this episode was totally weird for the previous minute. And the way Minmei gets to imagine Hikaru was absent to her premiere was more than forced. (and I'm not talking about Hikaru who grew up a bit but still overreacts to some cinema kiss) PS: how did the anime earn such a high-score from you when you're always nitpicking about plot holes, illogisms etc? |

| And Hikaru is back to being a dumbass again. But at least thanks to him hastily running off and failing to receive Minmay's message, we got more of the far superior Hayase and Hikaru moments. Too bad, they will probably will go back to Hikaru x Minmay by the end of the show, after they've milked this love triangle dry. Shammy ordering the crew around looked like a kid playing dress up lol. It was actually kind of adorable. |
| Stupid anime misunderstandings. The writers were lazy to make some better excuse to execute the plot. This series got me bored a little bit. Seems like the aliens aren't a threat anymore. Now Im expecting some dull actions in the future eps. The aliens reactions were amusing. And yeah Hayase is more interesting than Minmay. |

| Cool episode, 2 friendzoned souls find comfort in each other :p The kiss part was a bit strange but other than that I enjoyed pretty much everything in terms of character development here (shipping Misa and Hikaru, yay). There were some not very beautiful moments in terms of drawings but I'm used to that already. Britai's reaction to kung fu was hilarious xD |

| When they pocket televisions and fridges they show hoarding habits all collectors can identify as belonging to actual alien otaku. Spy trio development is great in this episode showing how they're exactly like us but also clueless about the culture, I feel it's very easy to like this bunch. Rest of the episode is fine, some good development and it looks like they're finally making some progress in the love triangle thingy or whatever shape it is. |
