....So it's like Bushilord (Post apcolylptic Warring States Era with a stand in for a historical figure, and robots)? Either way, this looks pretty interesting, nice to see some creative mech shows come out after a lot of sequals and spin offs of bigger franchies. Plus the desgins look awesome, although the robot reminds me of the armor from Samurai Gun...and I'd rather not remember that show.

We don't like BAD mecha anime.

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

I don't get why people think that just because Sengoku Basara was popular that this is automatically cashing in on that, considering Basara has been popular since 2005 with the game franchise and besides, it was posted that this was pitched before the anime even came out so...

Sure seems like it, which is kind of ironically sad, considering before the show aired no one here seemed willing to give it a shot because the hot shit at the moment was Koihime Musou....

It appears that in the current economic downturn, developers are sticking with cookie-cutter folderol they know will sell well.

'Cause everything you've ever watched is an artistic masterpiece, right? GTFO. If you're not interested, just SAY you're not interested and keep it moving. Don't come up with BS excuses about a show you haven't even seen, as it isn't even out. :P

A Sengoku-era mech show? No great thoughts on this just yet. Have to watch an ep first.

I'm expressing a lack of interest based on the concept - another reimagining of the Feudal period with a cheap gimmick. This is as equally valid an opinion as all the other people in this thread, who happen to like such a concept and are expressing interest.

Expressing a lack of interest without explaining why you're not interested is one big post about nothing.

if anyone is sick of any genre, they are sick of all of them.

if its refreshing enough you might get over the fact that its the latest incarnation of some kind of story you might have seen before. new is always welcome, all that is left is to see if its good.

Do you even watch anime. Most of the good ones that are cxoming out right now are scifi.

Date Masamune is coolness in person>>>whatever date masamune does it IS cool >>> even when he sits..he is STILL cool => Date Masamune on giant robot CAN'T be bad and WILL be good . .....plus..i'd go nuts till sengoku basara season 2 + ova..so a mecha upgrade with date masamune is definitely the bomb..

I saw the trailer, the visual is pretty similar to a game, quite rushed too but still wanna see this. The combination of mecha and japan history could be interesting even if the Feudal warfare is a cliche I usually like that Genre. let's see..
