According to the official website, an anime movie of Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai was announced to be premiered in the summer of 2013. The story of the TV series will be retold from Menma's point of view.

Making anime into a movie is really mainstream these days
But, retelling doesn't sound interesting
But if done right I won't mind

Okay I thought the series was pretty good, but I don't think it really needs a movie/retelling. I'm fine with what we got and I'd rather they just left it alone.

The series had some horrible pacing. I don't know how the movie will fix that.

this anime certainly a good anime. but the ending just disappointed me...
so, that fact can't be changed.
