Sorry if there was already a thread like this. >.> Anybody? From the RTS to the RPG to the table top game, any part. I have sadly yet to play Dawn of War II but hoping to play III. :D I loved Soulstorm. I just wish Vigil Games, Games Workshop, and THQ would hurry up and finish Dark Millennium Online. I can't wait for that. :D Credit goes to Raxius |

Yep. Play Orks and Skaven mostly, with a disturbingly growing pile of both Marines/GK/BA, Tomb Kings and a bit of Nids and Beastmen. And some BFG ships as well. Time is a harsh mistress ;__; Didn't really fancy DoWII that muh though, felt too small and fast paced imo. Dark Crusade still remains the best of the series if you ask me. But I did hear DoW III would bring in larger, customisable armies that you could fight with online, so that does sound interesting. Would have been great if they made it more like the tabletop game where you can choose your units before deploying and so on and field a customised force rather than churn them all out on the battlefield. And someone seriously needs to make a BFG game. Just throw in Homeworld style gameplay specialised for 40k and it could even be a part of DoW III for that matter. The Space Marine game was also decent, too bad the newest DLCs are so damn expensive. Will be interesting to see what new stuff comes along from that direction. Kind of sceptic to Dark millennium though, really don't see how they can balance all the factions and classes properly without raping the fluff in one way or another. I mean, if we can play as marines, then most people playing other species would probably have to be elites to be able to fight on an equal footing. Really can't see Boyz, Guardians or Fire Warriors being balanced with marines. ![]() Firar ein mann seg sjølv ned i reip, og får bane, då er han sjølv banemannen sin. |

Im not a die hard fan but what ive played i have loved, ecpecially the recent shooter one, i was so expecting that to suck hard since it was another rts to shooter than those dont end well but by god they actually pulled that off and it was just a damn fun game even then after that. but i enjoyed what rts's ive played from it aswell "Being a fan of something is like having a penis. It's normal to have one and it's nice to be proud of it. But for the love of god, don't pull it out in public and don't wave it in other's faces." |

Really can't see Boyz, Guardians or Fire Warriors being balanced with marines. That would be an amazing game to me. A Homeworld type feel for a W40K game. If you could play as different races with a survival type thing would be sweet as well. I enjoyed the Space Marine game. If they only put in a lot more weapons it could've been a lot better. That's just me though. I can see balancing issues being the main major issue for Dark Millennium online. Like when someone is wearing Terminator armor. Moving around in that armor will not be pleasant for a lot of people that don't have any patience. xD And that don't have a land speeder or any type of transport, other than walking. Lol. Right now I'm playing Rogue Trader with a bunch of my friends. Really fun. Deathwatch is on Sundays. :D Credit goes to Raxius |

Or a Amnesia style Space Hulk horror game. Omnom. Of course you'd have to play as a Rogue Trader or something, being a SM wouldn't make it very creepy. ![]() Firar ein mann seg sjølv ned i reip, og får bane, då er han sjølv banemannen sin. |

Necrons are fucked up. Haha. Can't imagine trying to fight them. Not dead, just rebuild myself. Credit goes to Raxius |

Used to collect Space Marines, I've currently stopped though, they cost quite a lot and painting them takes ages. |

He wants to make an army called Ultra Smurfs. xD My other friend has a badass Ork Warboss. Don't play the TT, but I have all the Dawn of War games, minus Retribution. I really liked the first Dawn of War games and like Baman said, Dark Crusade is the best in the series. Didn't really liked the 2nd series very much, as it focused to much on micromanaging (which I suck at, I prefer to just send my army in and watch the pretty lights) and the scale felt way to small when compared to the first series (though I did like the campaign). |
