So, I have been trying to import my AniDB list to MyKittyList, I have tried just XML and XML-Plain, neither will import, not sure if the file is just too big or something or they changed their XML formatting and that broke the import process. I really don't want to have to by hand add 2,051 different animes, 21,541 episodes that AniDB says I have.

I suppose it's because the file size is too big. I have 2884 entries in my list, and when I export it, and try to import again, it gives me an error.

Have you tried splitting the file in half?

You must also remove comments at the beginning and the end of the file, have you done that?

Split them into 1MB files. I had the same issue 2 years ago, the site was able to take it when they were that sized.

""All Anime" is disabled for lists with greater than 1500 anime entries."

So right at ~20,000 lines before header and footer seems to work, notepad++ needs a lazy option for that, Thanks everyone, the issue has a workaround.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list.
