I knew they would do this. Once the manga, I had a feeling they wouldn't pass making another anime.

It makes sense now that the manga was finished last year. It's about f&@#ing time! I thought this would NEVER happen. ^_^

This is so great news! I can't wait! =) I was sad at the end of the anime, I hope they do well with this next part!

I just hope Inuyasha kills Naraku for real meaning no more wussing out at the last minute. They just gotta kill his heart and it over.

I saw this coming. With all those rumors on the net, it was bound to happen, so I'm not surprised. I'm really glad though. It can finally finish properly (and hopefully we'll see those chapters where
)

Now if only they'll do this with D.Gray Man at some point, since both series sort of ended the same without anything resolved <_<

It makes me sad, even I haven't seen Inu Yasha, because it's waste of time.

Not a surprise at all. Sunrise stated when they caught up to the manga and ended the first run that they'd like to continue it once the manga ended. Then the manga ended last year, and that Black Tessaiga OVA was made with original staff/cast... which was basically saying "yeah, we have everyone back together, we're going to continue the series."

It's too profitable for them to ignore, for one thing. Still a big popular franchise in Japan and certainly in the US. And hopefully this means we'll get it in HD, though just 16:9 would be nice even if not HD.

how can you know it's a waste of time if you haven't seen it? you're a waste of time.

I'm pretty much in shock right now, since I always thought a second season of Inuyasha will never come, and that it's just my own wishfull thinking...gonna watch it for sure.

Nice. As a Rumiko fan, I'll eventually watch Inu Yasha anyway, but this urges me even more.

I have watched random episodes from throughout the series while it was still airing, but I've yet to go through it all.

No. The manga itself is full of filler. The story will still have a bunch of nonsense even if they're manga loyal. 20 volumes is going to have about 2-3 volumes worth of progression and 17-18 volumes of random fluff and prolonged scenes. It's Rumiko's style.
