Hello everyone,

You all may have already noticed from the picture above that we are finally starting our "Claim a RH Manga, Anime or Character Project". We decided on doing this activity just for you Romantic-Historical fans so you can claim your favorite RH Manga-Anime-Character. There are a lot of claiming clubs out there, but we wanted to make ours special for you all. This will not be your average claiming activity, you will have to work and prove yourself as a Real RH fan to claim something. We made the whole "CLAIMING" process quite interesting for you guys rather than just some boring "post request>claim>finished banner" deal. Also We created certain prerequisites solely on the fact that we want you guys to have fun and be active on MAL and because this genre is somewhat new and doesn't have that many Mangas/Animes. If you think your up for the challenge then get started with the Prereq's before someone else gets your favorite RH Manga-Anime-Character!... let the FUN BEGIN XD

I use photoscape too (courtesy of Koko ^^) but it'll be nice to have different designs for the claim cards. I guess if you're familiar with the anime/manga/charcter and see it first then make it- otherwise another admin can, we shouldn't make rules and things....so if theres one i want to do then i will but if its one i know nothing about then i might ask someone else to...we'll see how it goes :D

No prob ^^.. Yes i also think there should be many designs and different kinds, but i think what Orulyon meant was just to see how they should kinda look like (probably in terms of what goes where) but you guys can randomly do any instead of going in order and if it helps to do the ones you do know about then yea go ahead do those. Basically anything that makes it easier for you guys, cuz i really don't mind =). I think once the claiming thing starts you all will get a hang of it, even though right now it's confusing lol.

Well, for me its fine like you guys decide, but i prefer some organization, because as i told Koko before, ill be two whole weeks without internet, and then, for a month ill only be able to come here once a week, so it would help me a lot knowing what iam supposed to make. Also i suggested each of us to make 5 cards, and then another makes other 5 etc... because if we dont have some rules, then, well, i can make one, and you make 10, or you make 1 and i make 10, it would be a little unfair. and also, imagine, we are both familiar with an anime\manga, so we both make the same card twice, that would be a waste of time, unless we pm each others telling that we want to make that card.
Anyway, to me its fine wherever you guys decide, just let me know later...
As for the design, i agree, we can make different designs, its more unique and easier that way.

Hey guys, just wanted to ask you all about the member cards activity. I was thinking we should finally start having mc's here, even though we're kinda late. I've had members ask me about them and they really want a card for this club. So what do you guys say, do you all have time since the claim project is on hold? =)

well im kinda busy, but i agree, we should have MC. Maybe, first, some of us could make some templates, than post them here, and decide which ones we could put in the club... as for the deliver its kinda complicated because we have so many members, but if we do it all together, i guess we can do it:D

I agree Oru, if we all work on them then we may be able to deliver at a fast pace. Also since you mentioned the designs, first i was wondering we should choose the specific RH manga/animes that will be used. Can you guys please go and check out the "Regarding memeber cards" thread, I've posted what we're going to do. I'll also be sending a mass. msg about it probably tomorrow. =)

well i was thinking in something lately... so please everyone give me your opinions.
Lately the special edition member cards are becoming quite popular. in fact there are clubs that only make LE cards and dont make the usual way. i think we should make it that way too. why you ask?
first because we are all so busy, so, if we made teams of two people, we let the thread open for one week, or make a limit of cards (example: only 50 requests allowed). we close the thread and deliver them. since they are not so many, the next team can already think in the next edition. we could do a special edition every two or three months, so at least we could have member cards promoting our club. and if we do it this way, our cards will be very special and treasured;D because they´re limited editions. ofc, admins and creator all have one of LE cards lol.
that way we could change the template many times, example: red river edition, basara edition, etc etc. we have sooooo many mangas in our relations list. more LE cards we make, more members will come to join the club and be more active.
i can volunteer to make the first limited edition and deliver it, if u all agree. then we could decide our teams and discuss about future templates, making a list of the popular mangas and the less known mangas too, so we can use them in the future. we keep the member card business active, and we dont have to make them always and always and always...
but well, its just a suggestion. if u dont agree, i guess we´ll have to think about the MC thing so we can decide what to do about it;D

I for one am really sorry you guys, i feel like i'm letting the club down with my laziness/busy schedule =(. The thing is even though i said like months ago that we'd start the MC but we never really got to it mainly because everyone is so busy. I thought i'd be a bit free in the summer, but i'm actually transferring to another Uni and going to be living on my own in a dorm (which means more work for me to do). So like the usual days i don't have much time plus i'm taking more classes this semester. >.<
(Don't worry i am trying to keep myself from going insane ^^")
So all in all i agree with Oru, not just for the fact that we're all quite busy, but also because as Oru mentioned it's quite a different approach and might attract more attention to the club. If we were to do the MC then we should have started like ages ago when i first made this club but now with almost 600 members it'll be TOUGH. So i'm in with this plan, what about the other admins?

I'm the newest member of the crew as of, well, a few minutes ago xD I'm really glad I got accepted as an admin here, and I look forward to hanging out on here with you guys.

Well, a little about me a guess, since this is an introduction:
I'm currently in the summer before my senior year of high school, and currently aren't allowed to have a job, so I have a good bit of free time ^^" I want to be a computer programmer when I finally make it through school, but that'll be a while for sure. I live in Northern Florida, close to Jacksonville if you've ever heard of it, and I wish I didn't. I hate the heat, and Florida isn't the place to be when you don't like warm weather ^_- I love cats and music and computers (and yeah, of course my friends :3) they complete me~!

*coughs*Okies, ramble over now. That's all I could think of to include xP

I'm decent with an editor (not photoshop, but it does most of the same stuff) and love making member cards, limited editions, claims, and the like. I hope I can be of help here somehow~!

Oh, and if there's anything you want to know that I didn't include in this post, just ask! ^_- I'll be happy to answer~!

well, in that case, i ask permission to Koko...
Koko, can we open the first limited edition mc? maybe i could make a team now with Flame;D
so here´s its my suggestion:
we make teams of 2. Each team will deliver a Limited edition. the teams can change. imagine if a member of a team is busy, we will replace that member for another one that is free.
now since we have this huge amount of members, i would say
100 as the number of the first limited edition and in the future, maybe 150 or 200. more than that its hard, but at least we will be able to promote our club and our cards are very unique, precisely because they are limited, lol.
Also, i wanted to start next month a poll that will have several rounds.
it will be the "best R-H couple of 2010". i need each one of you to nominate 5 RH couples (or more). the couples we choose will be the ones competing in the poll so members can vote. and ofc i intend to repeat this thread in 2011, lol.
so minna-san, please give me ur opinions;D

I was actually thinking something similar as Oru with the limited editions and the voting. (Sure, you can call me Flame ^^ thanks for the welcome~! And I know Portugal xD I did a project on it in my world history class as my favorite European country ^_-)

Though, I think maybe we could have two people who are a team and are like "masters" of a limited edition. If the other admin have cards that they'd like to make and deliver, then I think they should be allowed to add them too :3 That way we could have more cards for the members to choose from and let less active admins have a chance to participate. And I'd love to team up with you Oru ^^ I look forward to it~!

As for the voting, I think it's a great idea. For this time though, it is true that it should be the admin who pick the couples since we still need to get the club more active, but later when we have more active members, I think maybe we should have the members nominate couples in a thread that they want as the R-H couple of whatever year. We could keep the thread open for a certain amount of time, and then close it when it's getting too full. That way, we could control the tide that comes with a lot of members as well as make sure we'll have the couples that the member's like :)

@ Both: I'm sitting here reading all these ideas etc. and thinking wow i'm losing my creativity lol. All in all, Oru do you even have to ask such a thing ^^, yes you may open the MC threads and the voting of the "best couple"; which btw sounds like a great idea. Just let me know if you guys want any help. Oh and do you guys think we should change the layout? it's been up there for couple of months now.

One more thing, can someone here make a list of exactly what's happening in terms of any current or new activities etc. and who's in charge of each of them so i can post them up on the first post. =)

@ FKH: Welcome, well I've already said that yesterday ^^" . Anyways, nice intro and the ironic thing is that i live in South Florida XD, but lucky me i'm getting out of this crappy state and moving to Houston. =)

Overall i like both of your ideas, even though i'm a bit confused on the teaming up part but yea just let me know if you guys need help. Till then i'm off to making some banners for this club.
