According to the official website, the third season of Nodame Cantabile titled "Nodame Cantabile Finale" will be aired from January 2010. The final chapter of the series was first announced to be aired this autumn.

Tomoko Ninomiya has mentioned on her blog that Nodame Cantabile will resume publishing on the July 25 issue of Kiss. As of now, manga will end to coincide with the spring 2010 premier of the final live-action film.

Not too surprised about this. To be honest, I'm surprised they are actually making a third season so early. But more Nodame is always a good thing.

I'm sad that the title was changed from Cantabile to Catabile. Though perhaps it's foreshadowing some nekomimi action Nodame may go through.

It probably got postponed so that the manga could finish first, since Ninomiya-sensei announced that the manga is nearing an end =<

Oh the manga is ending? If they intend on pushing it back to animate the official ending, then that's very smart.

arg, i thought this will be a anime that will entertain me in this summer but it will be for the winter time. anyway, hope the manga will go futher in the story so the third season will have more episode!
