I might buy the series now. Now that I know I'm not stuck on the poor Alabasta arc. I really hated that arc. It didn't have that One Piece spirit! |

I hope they do something similar with Bleach. I've just caught up with the manga (volume 27) and it turns out that only up to the point where I dropped the manga a year (or years?) ago has been released in English. There are 39 volumes out in Japan. If the current pacing remains, it'll take forever to catch-up by buying the manga. Not good.  |

Just when I started collecting too. I was really excited until I started reading this thread and realized they make horrible translations. I always thought the first couple of chapters of One Piece was unbearable because of the horrible translations and now I come to find out they're still going to be doing in in the later chapters? uggg  Don't recommend me something that is still publishing, unless its close to being finished. Don't recommend me anything that isn't licensed. |
