| I don't see much of a difference in the comedy during the introduction of characters and the current. Everything character-related was their introduction and they obviously can't introduce a new character for every story. ;) |

| I think they still use it, though the balance is kinda off. Chiri seems to be always there, showing off her properness but Kaere/Kaede's split personality was only used twice. During her introduction and for that random cooking-show-parody. But overall, they do use them. Usui is still invisible, Mayo is still as evil as she looks, when there's an E-Mail coming in, you can be sure it's incredibly mean, everything Manami says has the cruel touch of realism in it (she needs a proper introduction already!). I don't see what exactly you're missing suddenly but that's fine. ...btw, they really need to explain who that girl with the guns is, the one that's usually at Maria's side. >.< |

| This was a very good beginning of the new season, especially the part in prison and the part where Chiri explained how she sends her "romantic" messages were very funny. |

I didn't expect much of them since I didn't precisely love their Goku SZS subs, but they've improved and we are really not in a position to be picky with this show. As for the episode itself, it was a strange mixture of good and bad for me. From the beggining it threw me off with the horrid (to my tastes) OP. It just doesn't have the same likeable kind of crazyness that previous OP songs had (I would never skip those). I don't think I'll grow to like it, considering I was holding my best not to skip it. The episode itself was pretty brilliant during the superstitions skit, then it sort of got meh when that fat man showed up but it still kept me in with some funny bits and the ED was pretty nice at the very least. Passable, but they better not drop the ball like last season. |

| I liked the episode. I couldn't say that this was one of my favourites though since some of the jokes were too fast to follow for me (or maybe I slowed down) and there were less parodies and comedic moments. Still I guess it was a promising start to a series, with Hidamari sketch parody and Zetsubou's rant on bad omen~ |

| It was so good...I cried. The first season is the best in my opinion, so this will really have to go some to beat it. |

On that matter, I think if they used Kaere/Kaede for her extreme double personalities and toned down the cheap "panty shot" gag it would prove less tiring and more useful. Kaere's introduction was pretty damn awesome but then she was pretty much delegated the panty-shot girl, or the rare "Crazy Foreigner" role. |

| Man, it seems like SHAFT hardly even tried for this episode. I haven't read the manga, but I definitely got the impression that they just copied the manga for a lot of parts. What happened to the creativity, to the style, to the detail of the art? Good thing it was still funny at least... |

| We're off to an interesting start, though I didn't enjoy it as much as Zoku's first episode. I'm loving the aesthetics of the ED, and am awaiting the new OP. It sure sounds pretty good though Got quite a few laughs and grins out of it and though I'm happy to see my favourite characters back again, I'm actually pretty sad that this is the last season ;_; |

| The OP song is Godly epic yoo~ because I listened the full version of this song several times before watching the show....haha The OP animation is good in that way because this is the introduction OP, so, I hope next episode will have a real OP. Hell yeah, I missed this show. Zetsubou Sensei is back yoo~~ but due to over expectation, this episode is just okay. I expected it 5/5 episode but I'll give this 4/5. Only Part one (rescuing Sensei) was amazing. Unexpected gory fighting scene was awesome. Chiri weapon as shovel as usual, Mayo as bat, Meru as cell phone (LOL) and Fujiyoshi as Manga book (haha). Spring part was okey....Self-discovery was okey but to be continued??? Isn't it unusual?? What happened Shaft? Good!!! ED animation is beyond my expectation :') Song is still good as usual. |

| LOL, pretty sure this was another Higurashi reference (Higurashi Kira when they are trying to escape the quarantine). Never thought they would pull out a 2nd Higurashi reference in this anime. Awesome episode either way! I'm surprised no one realized that reference to Higurashi Kira though when they were doing the prison break out of the quarantine. |
