| Interesting first episode, a nice mix of cute and funny. This looks like it could turn out to be a fun series. Couldn't have found this anime at a more perfect time. In my popular culture class, we're talking about the early stages of baseball and are on a segment on women in the 19th century and how women's baseball was disbanded due to being too violent for "delicate maidens." Plus an all-star cast of prominent voice actresses? Count me in. |

| This is the 1920's? It felt more like later because already having cars and wired trains. Since this is very early in the 1900's, I assume women don't have the same equality as men right? Koume's father was against the idea of women joining baseball and told Koume what would the others think. Anyway, I really loved this episode. Very normal characters that have this sense of realism. Koume's pretty cute, especially with them cheeks. Took me a while to get used to them but I think they look very cute. So far this show seems promising. It's nice to see shows just being normal instead of being all over the place. |

| came here because I enjoyed Shakunetsu Musume. But Taishou Musume has too much drama for my tastes. Sorry, dropped. However I leave it with a parting score of 7. |
