this is a very wonderful anime, it field me with relaxation and easiness. :)

Beautiful ending. :) Glad I got to see Ai-chan again. ^^ Her meeting with various people from Akari letters was nice touch and perfect way to end first season. :)

This is how slice-of-lifes should be done.
Beautiful atmosphere, characters, and soundtracks, with a perfect pacing.
Though I do want to get to season 3 quickly

What a fucking chore this series became. Slice-of-life shouldn't equal no plot and character development.

This. Also, for me the beginning of this episode was booring, but, as always, the rest was nice. I give the show 9 out of 10.

Makes me feel good about being a human being. I'm not really sure what to feel after watching Aria. There's very shows that I've sat through that have been as relaxing and peaceful as this one. I think it was the music that pulled me through. Been loving and following Round Table/Nino for a while now and the OP is just... so godly.

Onward to season 2! O gorilla banana(?)!

This was very much a slice of life anime. Quite the relaxing anime. 7/10

I came into this expecting a masterpiece, and it sadly didn't live up to my expectations. Not a bad anime at all, though.

Lately, I've been fighting a bout of depression, so all the talk about the world being such a beautiful place to live in, and Akari's sappy lines had the adverse effect of pissing me off unfortunately. Maybe I picked a bad time to watch a relaxing anime like this? Speaking of which, everyone keeps on mentioning how Aria is relaxing, soothing, calming, etc. Uhh, that's great? It does have that feel, for sure, but it can be slow and - for lack of a better word - boring at times.

That being said, the world-building has been great so far, and since it makes me want to learn more about the world these characters inhabit, I know it's doing something right. The setting is nice as well, being a pseudo-Venice and all.
Episode 11, in particular, was the best(some personal resonance). I also liked the one with President Aria, even though I know most people hated it...

The Natural and Origination seasons seem to have much higher scores than the first season, so maybe I'll finally get why Aria is critically acclaimed and loved by most.

A strong finale, loved it. I'm glad Ai-chan managed to meet almost everyone Akari-chan did, she even got her own glimpse at the past! No..sappy... 5/5.

Quite the relaxing show to watch, I was afraid that I would be disappointed like with many big titles, but this one delivered. Gonna watch the next season next summer. 9/10.

This is a well made slice of life. Relaxing to watch, pretty interesting. It just needs more character development, I'll watch the next season quickly.

So the one question raised was not answered....who is Ai?

She was the little girl that Akari and Aika ferried around in the first episode and the one who Akari kept writing to.

Of all the New Year episodes I've watched in anime, this is my favorite. It was just so peaceful and beautiful, unlike the usual excitement (which is good too). It really is a refreshing take on New Year's Eve/New Year. I agree that although it's supposed to be happy, I was more sad because endings are always sad :(

Auguri, buon anno! (I wish I could've watched this on New Year's Eve, lol) Beautiful ending to a beautiful anime! Now I'm off to watch the next season!

This was a great ending, the whole anime was so relaxing and heartwarming really enjoyed this even though there was barley any story or development it was still an awesome anime to watch! 8/10

This is an anime about nothing. NOTHING. I would have rather watched a bunch of those kitten and puppy videos. At least something happens in them. Why is this ranked so high on MAL? It is in the top 600 anime? .... It didn't have any romance, action, or comedy.... It didn't even have a conflict in the story? Why did I watch this? I thought some other anime were a waste of time, but this one takes the cake.

I also prefer series with more action ... but still, for me the last 3 episodes were particularly great.

Gonna watch the sequels soon =)

What I honestly hated was that damn cat, he just pissed me off from the first episode to the last ... sorry >.>
