elevenletters said: I just noticed two things: the name of the thread ("What game have you just finished", not "What game have you recently played"), and how my post makes it look like I'm talking about the game. I meant the quality of the torrent itself was pretty terrible. Missing files and adware. Ah. That makes much more sense. ![]() Dada Sprewells and iCarly socks, Dada Sprewells and iCarly socks GET HIGH, KILL SELF |

Just spend the last 3 days completing the dead space series for the first time. Yes, all 3 of them. Thought it was about time to dust em off as I owned em for quite a while now. On my way to become the most passable anime watcher! |

Resident Evil Revelation. It wasn't a bad game at all, it was actually better than RE6 to me. |

The Last of Us, definitely the best game I have ever played. It is no understatement to call this a masterpiece. If you want to know where my Sig is from click HERE |

I just recently finished the Last of Us about an hour ago. Best game I've played on PS3 hands down, and one of the best games I've ever played. 10/10.. Now to go buy it's season pass. |

deus ex human revolution. Fun game. Too bad that in the later the stages you become so powerful that the original challenge becomes a walk in the park. |

Num1dad_Asura said: I'd say it's a severe understatement, the controls are clunky, the AI is terrible, and very inconsistent, there are lots of big open areas that look like they are made to explore, but have nothing in them, and having all of the menus be real time was a terrible design choice, ZombiU already proved that and it works just as bad in The Last of Us. Also, normally I don't factor the story into whether or not a game is good, but it takes its boring, uninteresting story way too seriously, by having a ridiculously long intro sequence as well as an excessive amount of cutscenes and gameplay segments with nothing to do other than walk from one area to another unnecessarily slowly, and the voice-acting sounds like a stupid TV drama, it's not nearly as convincing as the performance of the voice actors in the Uncharted series, hell even some of actors on the Jak and Daxter games did a better job.The Last of Us, definitely the best game I have ever played. Lol, my friend were we playing the same game? The controls were fine never had a problem and same goes to the AI. I am not quite sure what you mean by "made to explore but nothing there", essentially all the areas have items or parts that can be used to make various items, upgrade your weapons or to use against enemies, so I am not sure what you mean by "nothing". As far as I know all zombie/survival games have a real time menu, nothing new here. As for the story, I found it to be brilliant from the execution to the dialogue and voice acting. The long walk scenes (they are not even that long to begin with) are used to build the world and develop the characters while also giving you a little breather from the long battle sequences before, I found quite nicely executed. All in all I found it to be an astounding game and consider it a masterpiece and if you didn't like it.........too bad. If you want to know where my Sig is from click HERE |

You have essentially pointed out flaws in the game that most games would have today. There are no games that are "perfect". It's a game, and it's one of the best story driven games I have ever played. Story and characters aside, the gameplay was decent, and the flaws don't disturb the immersion you have with the game. So yes, it is by far one of the best games of this generation! |

The Wind Waker A great game until the Master Sword is fully restored. After that the lengthy sailing and wind manipulation as well as the clumsy naval combat grows tedious with the gathering of the Triforce shards, and it's followed by a disappointing throwback to Ocarina of Time in the form of Ganon's Tower. The ending kind of makes up for that, though. Also, the combat demands little precision and its minor enemy-on-player damage makes going out of one's way to gather heart pieces pointless. Which is also tedious, since in place of heart pieces you usually find sea charts, leading to more of the aforementioned monotony. The game has charm but also the worst structure of any Zelda I've finished. |

Finished Bioshock Infinite. FUCKING GOD. This was not only one of the best games EVER, but possibly rivals some of my favorite books of ALL TIMES in terms of story quality and character development. Anyone who decided not to play this game is a fool. |
