I was just wondering since most people don't tend to be into the josei genre [someone prove me wrong please!] I got into it myself only because the story seemed interesting and I wanted to see what a josei was like. Glad I tried it =) |

Wanting to check out Josei was my reason too. I realized I hadn't read any and was ignoring the genre completely, so I picked the highest rated ongoing one on MangaUpdates and have been happy I did since. That said, it's still the only Josei I read, so... |

Glad I tried it =) I'm a fan of josei!!! I've read/watched - NANA (thought that might actually be shoujo), Hotaru no Hikari, Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, and Ristorante Paradiso (though haven't finished it yet). There. Proved you wrong...kind of lol. I started reading it because I kept seeing it being recommended by people on Y!A. =) |

My MAL friend recommended this manga to me since she fell in love with cute character of Rin and after I read it I fell too. I really love the main characters, their interactions and the story is kinda unique for me too. :D |

Well, I'm an avid Yotsuba&! fan and while updating my progress on it, I noticed Usagi Drop under the user recommendations and decided to look it up. There's a bit more drama than I expected but I'm really getting into it and find Daikichi and Rin's relationship quite cute. |

I don't exatctly remember how I found out about Usagi Drop, but it was probably MAL's rec list. I stayed with it because I like Josei just as much as Seinen, as long as story, art and development match up. And that is very much the case with this one. |

This. ^ And I've been really enjoying it thus far, started off kinda slow but it's getting better and more interesting as the story progresses. :) |

I was in a bunny-mood, so I checked if there was any manga with Usagi in the title. Silly, I know. This one seemed pretty interesting, so I gave it a try. I like it very much. |

I also got to it via MAL. Someone had written a review that showed up on my panel and I went to check it out. Glad I did too, it's such a nice daily life story! Too bad we have to wait sooo long for the next release :) |

I came upon Usagi Drop when I saw it was on the recommended list via MangaUpdates while I was browsing Sahara Mizu's My Girl (which is the best dramatic seinen manga, in my opinion, of all time). I am really hoping someone picks it up despite the license starting with Volume 5 as by the time that is actually released here, I'll probably have my own nephew or niece to worry about. Also, I've seen volume 5 and chapters 31 to 39, excluding 34, 36, 37 of volume 6 in raw form and the drama is getting quite suspenseful, despite the fact Rin isn't a little girl anymore, but rather a teenager. I did not know what Josei genre was and my reason by curiosity just got the better of me by looking at the cute manga cover. I started reading and I was hooked. I love it, the progression between both character growing up together is just wonderful. |

I was looking for a less tasteful loli series which I couldn't remember the name. I picked up Usagi Drop at random, trying to see if it was what I actually was looking for. Avatar by Aeorys Kirru |
