| this is the first time ive been disappointed in an episode of Hayate. It was a whole bunch of nothing and I'm hoping this is all over and it switches back to Hayate, Nagi and Maria again. It looks like it will, too. All the romance was fine, but it's a bit too much in a huge arc (plus I'm a Hayate/Maria shipper) |

| Is it me, or did Nagi make somewhat of a reference to Haruhi here? Hayate's cold side was a nice twist. Though then again, if I had a gay stalker, I would probably react the same. And if Hinagiku's last name isn't Katsura, then what IS it? Too much good stuff to name. New ED next time? |

I loved the part, where Maria talked about the impossibility of Hinagiku falling in love with Hayate. "Yes, that's right, but..." :D |

| Looks like the Hina Chapter is over. Time for some Saginomiya Family action. >:3 Who else thinks there'll be a new Ending? The Omake was great. I'm glad they added something like this. |
| The extra was funny. So was Hina's face at the end and Maria's comment...but other than that, a bland, bordering on bad episode. Especially with all the unnecessary jumping around in the episode. What's worse is they made the Haruhi reference, which only made me appreciate when jumping around is done well, and become more aggravated with the episode. I really didn't care for so much Hina. This only solidified what I knew from pretty much the beginning of the first series and the sleepover arc, so to see it dragged out more seemed like a waste to me. Need much more Maria. She always has something funny to say. |

| What really bothers me is the feeling that they're just going to leave Hinagiku there. I mean, I understand that the story revolves around Nagi-end, but if these "arcs" are, say, watchable in different orders, I'm going to be irritated. Hina realizing her feelings is too big a bombshell just to be conveniently forgotten so we can get Isumi modelling 17th century fashion. Wasn't wowed by the episode, am terrified of what might happen going forward. |

| Hayate was being a player on the balcony and didn't even know it. It's not like Hina will win anyway. Nice conclusion to the arc, but glad it is over. |

And though it's not video, I thought of the Chronicles of Narnia at the same time. Only real issue I had with the episode.. multiple characters saying Hina doesn't show her feminity and cuteness.. Did they just forget about ep 48 of the 1st season. That entire episode is focused on that. >.< Izumi talking to the father was amusing, and the thing about the emotions.. I first thought 'how would you be able to tell. Hina's female and a teen (no offense), and then the outplay.. extremely minor. Yay for Izumi playing a little bit of MAR refrence, been missing that since the first season was filled with it. Also the Nagi jealous of Hina.. nothing new though it is amusing that Hina is the only one of Hayate's admirers that she doesn't get along with lol. Yay for Hina finally acknowledging her feelings. Though the greeting for the end scene was a little over the top. Now for Hayate to realize the recriprocation. |

| And with this, the Hina's Birthday arc is done, and to me this one is easily the best episode I've seen so far. I also liked the omake about Kotetsu. The next arc is again something I found entertaining in the manga, so I'm looking forward to it. |

| Ok, I've just seen this episode and it comes down to a couple of major points: |
