I read on the Mangafox forums a while back that the editor went out of business in August of 08. I was just wondering if anybody has more info on a new company picking up the series? |

*facepalm* Seeing as the last volume came out more recently than that (October or something... wait, maybe it was early this year... can't remember) and seeing as an editor isn't the be all and end all, but the publisher is what's important, then I doubt you have anything to worry about. Far as I've heard, the next volume is due for publication later this year. "Mio is a leftyphile." -chinlamp "You don't mess with that woman. Dawn Fraser, she will ruin you." -Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes "I reckon you have to be mad to be in the army, and women are mad, so let them in." -Dave 'Hughesy' Hughes |

Mangaupdates has it listed as being on hold. Which seems to be the case - I can't even find an online store that's pushing available copies of volume 10, and I checked all the bigger places. Boy, I hope this doesn't get hung out to dry like tokoypop's translation of Dragon Voice did (volume 11 on preorder for 15 goddamn months now). ![]() |

They haven't released enough chapters since volume 9 was released to compile a volume. This manga is released at the rate of one chapter a month. Also, with SnoopyCool officially in limbo due to Snoopy himself being the internet equivalent of waiting for resurrection, there probably won't be any fansubs for a while. I was under the impression the series is released by tankubon, not serialized. Else the chapters would have been released in a slow dribble rather than surges. And I know that kmts scanned most of the recent chapters. Where does SnoopyCool fit into this? ![]() |

It is, it's serialised in Korea. Sorry, I was replying to two topics on two different boards and got them mixed up. I meant kmts, and they have only done full tankobon releases for this series never magazine scans. "Mio is a leftyphile." -chinlamp "You don't mess with that woman. There seems to be some discrepancy as to whether this is on hiatus or not. Here are links to mangahelpers and mangaupdates. http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=1829 http://mangahelpers.com/m/unbalance-x2 Here is the link to the mangafox forum where I first heard about this. http://forums.mangafox.com/showthread.php?t=59999&page=3 And finally, here is the link to the page that talks about the publisher, Tokebi, going bankrupt(my bad, I said editor in my opening post). I don't know if this is a credible source or not because I have never checked out mangaverse.net before. This is the link that is provided in the mangafox discussion. The original is in French, but through the magic of Google Translator, I give you the link in english as well. http://www.mangaverse.net/html/kotat...an08-seebd.htm http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&js=y&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mangaverse.net%2Fhtml%2Fkotatsu%2Fbilan08%2Fbilan08-seebd.htm&sl=fr&tl=en&history_state0= |

HEY ! For seebd... It's a FRENCH company... I know : I'm a french man. :) So Unbalance X Unbalance doesn't be concerned by the bankrupt from Seebd. Just in France, we have like little problems with the publications of manwhas for like 6 months but now a new company have been created (Sanji). But's that don't concern the publication of Unbalance X Unbalance. ^^ ![]() |

So if it wasn't the Korean publisher that went bankrupt, I wonder why they put the series on hiatus? Maybe, Im Dal Young just has too many series to do right now. |

Aflame Inferno, UxU, Kurokami, Freezing, Onihime VS, The Legend of Maian and the sequel of Zero... But in another hand, we can think it's not him but the Artist : Lee Soo Hyun ? Who is the artist for Onihime VS and Re:Birth - The Lunatic Taker. ^^ ![]() |

I wish I would've known it was on hiatus before I started reading it. I just blew through volumes 1 through 9 only to be confronted by a killer cliffhanger. Ah well, complaining won't help... just gotta sit here and wait. |

Something about Korean publisher going bankrupt but Japanese version being popular enough even tho its somewhat behind Korean. I hope to see more of Ux2 soon. |

Mangahelpers has raws up to volume 6. So I would imagine that is where they are at. zond said: Something about Korean publisher going bankrupt It wasn't the Korean publisher, it was the French. We will probably see the new chapters after the Jap version catches up. But it could be even longer than that depending on whether the anime is coming out. |
