I have the odd habit of remembering birthdays, whether of family members, friends or characters. That doesn't mean I do celebrate them though.

I'll celebrate it with putting their pic on my cake if they have same birthdays with me, but unfortunately I've never found one.

The only ones I remember are Hinagiku's (3-3) and that Maria's is set to Christmas Eve. But that's because it was mentioned in the anime.

But I'm terrible at remembering birthdays, so if you asked me again in a month, I probably wouldn't remember. ~de arimasu

Err, no.

I don't even remember the birthdays of my friends, no way in hell am I going to bother remembering the birthdays of fictional characters (Anime or otherwise) D8

That, and I just don't see the POINT. Unless I could make someone else make a cake for the occasion or something. Free cake = me likey.

No. Why would I celebrate birthdays of non-existing persona?

IMO, one needs to distinguish between reality and fantasy, in particular those concerning anime. And yes:

But I admit in taking a little pride in the fact that Johnny Yong Bosch shares my birthday. (Me = an aspiring voice actor).

I've never been mindful and reminiscent enough to remember and celebrate characters' birthdays. I dun see much importance in bringing up or mentioning a character's birthday, and how that would affect the story.

Hahaha! The fact that you don't celebrate your own doesn't mean you can not celebrate some elses ;p Though if we're talking about anime chars...eeeeh, well ^^'' I quite understand your point here.
And I don't celebrate my birthday ever since I was 11 or so ;p

(haha besides birthdays are sad days, not something to be happy - toy're gettin' older o.O *joking, joking* ^^' ;D but it is true.... -_-)

Indeed! :) How did you know what exactly I'm talking about? ^^ March 3 is no unique date...Lots of different things happened in different years, in different countries :)

I used to know this girl who knew all her favorite character's birthdays, and she wanted to celebrate ALL of them. We just kind of went along with it, because it meant free cake and as psycho as she was her cakes were delicious.

So yes. We don't talk anymore. I miss those cakes.

Nothing extraordinary. My curiosity urged me to google/wiki March 3 after seeing your post, and I ended up finding out Mar 3 is your country's liberation day. ^^

I can barely remember my own birthday, let alone an anime character's. Even the birthday's of my immediate family are oft forgotten. Even if I could remember anime birthdays, I have no reason to celebrate them. I might have a passing thought on that day or mention it in a conversation, but that's it.

Though I am curious now about some of favorite characters' birthdays.

Edit: Only 2 of my 10 favorites have birthdays in their descriptions, and neither are interesting.

Only the ones who have birthdays on holidays, like Nagisa or Misa (Christmas Eve) or on a day that's easy to remember.
I tried learning some of the Naruto characters ones, but...I forgot them all except for Naruto's cause it's 10/10 and I was like, why isn't that Tenten's birthday?!

I have enough trouble remembering the birthdays of my friends and family, the only person whose birthday I remember without thinking about is my uncle whose birthday is the same day as my own. With that said, as much as I love my favorite anime characters I couldn't be bothered learning, and then remembering their birthdays.

Nope.
1. I never look up their birthdays
2. Even if I wanted to, they're not always listed
3. Even if I had a specific date, I'd probably forget it
4. Even if I remembered, what would I do? Sit with a cake in front of a poster/figurine/MPC? ._.

Oh hey, Azu-nyan's birthday was 8 days ago. No birthdays listed for my other favorite characters. Technically, one of them is already dead so, yea ._.
