Love love love love. Only negative aspects were the recycling of nearly every piece of animation, and a hardcore lack of Penguins in Shinji's mind. |

Uh, this doesn't make any sanse at all anymore... The anime started out as a pretty simple mecha fighting series, which I didn't like. Then it started to focus more on the characters, and less on the fighting part (I guess), which I kinda liked. But from there it went downhill and now it makes no sense at all... Azusa <3 |

So strange. Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.~ |

I remember the first time a saw this with my pal and his words were "Welcome to the mind rape" at that time i agree with him because i didn't get much of what was going on (it really is difficult to keep up with this) but i have to say that episode 25-26 is the real evangelion The longing for love, being accepted, being with someone...all of that things depict what a human is or at least part of our very existence, cause we only exist when we coexist with others (filosophy yeah i know..) |

This episode was such a horrible mindfu*k that I could barely stand it(I guess that's the point of it being a mindfu*k to start with). I probably spent 40 mins on 20 mins episode and I'm even kinda' sleepy. I agree that this may be the real Evangelion, because it differs too much from the other episodes. I feel like these 20 minutes were more important than it might seems at first. I just hope next episode is not so confusing or I don't know what my thoughts on the anime will be. I'll probably score it tomorrow, though. I finally realized how good the ED actually is. It felt so nice after all I saw... p.s. I feel like watching some bullshit after this depressing mindfu*king anime. Something mindless like Hidan no Aria. |

RangFlash said: I loved this episode. It was directed in a very strange and memorable way. The psycho babble was not really babble in my opinion, because it made sense when compared to the rest of the show. I agree with what u said the problem was that it was a bit too long. |

The reason I didn't end up enjoying this episode was that it was just jam packed and left for you to sort out and understand the psyche of the characters. But, in doing that, it feels like was just too much to take in about just ONE single character (besides the fact that we already knew what the characters were like around episode 17). It was just a cluster of psychological talk and not much power behind it. It's hard to explain, besides that. Not too impressed, but I hope the next episode takes us somewhere. Looking forward to the next! |

The last two episodes do wrap everything up in a sense. They go deep down into the each characters psyche and perform a fantastic psychoanalysis...unfortunately the budget then ran out. I'm rewatching this and i realized that there really was no way that Anno could have left the series on this sort of note...thank god for EoE. Even so, these last two episodes do in fact wrap up the series and provide a conclusion...EVA's plot comes second when it comes to it's characters. |

Aside from the character background covering, all the rest was worthless. Worst ep so far for me. |

I didn't really find it too confusing. They portrayed everything successfully and got what they wanted to do done. But then they made it more complicated and drawn out. What could have been a really cool episode ended up falling short imo. I think Ergo Proxy did this sort of thing much better. |

For me this wasn't much of a mindfuck, seen 'worse' (or better). So uhm... is it all taking place in Shinji's mind? mhm only 1 episode to go.. |

This episode explored some interesting concepts, but was extremely boring. It was interesting for about five minutes, and then it got old. I don’t think I ever want to watch this episode ever again for the rest of my life. |

I felt that Touji Suzuhara should have been in this episode. He is the fourth child and he did survive when his entry plug was crushed. Did he not make that much of an impact with the other people involved with Evangelion? |
