My guess is that Sebastian will return as the demon butler next season, but we'll have a new main character as the contract maker. Ciel's obviously dead and his soul was eaten/taken by Sebastian.  |

I doubt Ciel's dead, it would be weird if the anime had a different main character than the on-going manga. A lot of fans would be really mad. It's not confirmed that he's dead.    |

I don't know how are they going about with this... Hopefully it'll be a remake following the manga more closely,like FMA Brotherhood? |

From my point of view Ciel was cold blooded enough to even become a demon? How about that? XD Ok, leaving joke aside, I actually look forward to this second season. Maybe this time we'll be able to actually SEE Sebastian's true form <3 And of course, moar Grell and Undertaker is a must. P.S. |

The first one was a let-down, especially the last episode. I wonder how they're going to continue it though... Hopefully Ciel would be in there, if not, I might not watch it... |

I honestly don't know how to feel about this... I mean I absolutely LOVE Kuro but I think it's perfect being one season only. I don't want them to ruin it :( Unless it's some sort of an effin' awesome prequel that could clear up unsolved stuff... Like the fact that Drossel Cainz never showed up again XD That would be cool. Agreed. My thoughts are convoluted about this. Though it would be marvellous to see Sebastian, Ciel and the rest of the crew back in action, I feel as though another season will become a mindless filler that'll diminish the essence of Kuroshitsuji itself [the anime and manga both]. What should've been done was to initially have two seasons that'll cover most of the manga plot and not have the first season end the way it did. I was actually grateful for the way that the first season ended. In that particular fashion, it closed all doors to extend a plotline. But this announcement has left me wondering whether the producers will purposely destroy the mysterious essence that Kuroshitsuji holds. I'll watch this with an open mind. Nonetheless, as astronomical previously mentioned, if Ciel is not involved then consider the ratings of the second season to drop dramatically.
