Maybe Ciel wasnt finished his revenge, so Sebby went in for the kill and then "Just kidding, you still have something to do."

There's no proof that Ciel was dead. Plus, after this kind of open ending and an on-going manga, it was easy to predict they are going to make a second season if the anime is successful. It was quite obvoius, actually. XD

To be honest, I don't care how they are going to explain what happend in the last episode, I want them to follow the manga and in manga Ciel lives. ;)

So for you it's enough if they said "look people, we'll just pretend we didn't kill one of the main characters like that, forget the last episode, let's begin the Circus ark"? Might be too easy (and too stupid). I want them to find a decent explanation for all this mess... well, not that I'm expecting them to come up with something good, really.

They don't have to "pretend" they didn't kill him, because they didn't. :) It was an open ending, free for interpretation. Now we're going to see what "really" happened.
And yeah, I' won't cry if the explanation is not the most amazing thing ever.

It's only my opinion, but I think that Kuroshitsuji without Ciel or no second season at all would be much more horrible than not the most brilliant idea for explaining the last scene. ;)

Hmm if that's the case then I'll delay watching the first season more to lessen my time gap of watching.

I'm afraid that my interpretation is "he died" xP Because after seeing how they did the filler for this anime, I wouldn't be surprised if they messed it up like that. Nor if they didn't explain a thing.

Well, of course Kuroshitsuji without Ciel can't be done, so... why couldn't they leave the series alone? Didn't they ruin it enough already?

That's a matter of opinion. :) I don't think they ruined it at all, even the fillers were quite interesting. 10/10 on my list. XD

Well, of course it's a matter of opinion, but for me... GAH, FILLER PLOTHOLES. Like Ciel's slave mark. They didn't talk about it *at all*, so why bother to draw it (in the wrong position too)? And the real Queen's sudden appearance in the end? And filler-izing the Queen's butler into the final boss... just blargh.

I really really hope they think of something (kind of) logical to justify Ciel's presence and then go on with the manga plotline ;__; with NO FILLERS. Then it might come out as something decent.

But I wonder how they're going to continue. Maybe... nothing happened in the end of the first season. Like, someone interrupted while Sebastian was gonna kiss kill Ciel or something. Meh.

Who dared interrupt their kiss...? It was the only thing I liked in the last episode xD;;
