infinity said: Won't end. Considering its popularity and the derivated products, I don't think it'll end. Just see how many figurines, games, posters and other stuff are made according to the series. There is no way there are going to give all that up. All that money! How much of that profit do you really think makes it's way to Kishimoto? Maybe a tenth of a tenth of a percent, if anything. AirStyles said: The worst part Hard to say when the series will end. People seem to have been thinking it would end soon for the past two years or so. I'd be surprised if it was still around for more than three more years, though. |

I had high hopes for character like Konohamaru and Hyuuga Hanabi. Konohamaru is trained by Ebisu, so I'm really interested in what he have learn, but he just turn out to be Naruto number 2. And where the hell is Hyuuga Hanabi who's considered talented by the Hyuuga family?!?!?! Have she been forgotten already?! I don't care if Hanabi is a talented member of the Hyuuga family, she's still the younger sister of a minor character, making her an even less significant character. Why should Kishimoto waste ink and panel time on her? Yes, I'd like to see her during a portion that's in between arcs, like when the guys from the Wave Country were shown, but I don't see much reason for her to show up during a major story arc. Also, as a side note, I'm pretty sure Kishimoto sent her and Hiashi away just as an excuse for why Pain so easily trashed the village. Same for Team Gai being away. Also, I have yet to see Ebisu show any evidence that he's as good of a teacher as what's been claimed. |

As for the Ebisu thing. He does have the license for Elite trainer right? surely he must have something up his sleeve that'll be very valuable to Konohamaru, but, I guess Kishimoto just want to make him a joke character. In other word, unless you're the main cast, you're nothing in the book. "Comparing Naruto and Bleach is like comparing wet shit and dry shit, at the end of the day, they're still shit." |

I believe it was even said that he normally teaches jounin level ninja. But, he's done absolutely nothing to prove that he's as good as what he and others have claimed. |

That's exactly the point, I rather Konohamaru turn into something different then Naruto number 2. Why can't he use moves that Ebisu taught him behind the scene. Back then when the Genin 9 was created, they are all separate individuals with their own specialties. By having him only using ecchi jutsu and rasengan, why don't we just say his only mentor is Naruto? What is Ebisu doing there!?!?!?! I really expected Konohamaru to be more mature when he's in shiipuden, but he's just like Naruto, except more perverted and annoying. Way to go Kishimoto, you just ruined Konohamaru's chances of Bing Naruto's Rival to the Hokage. Naruto turned himself around, so Konohamaru can probably do it, too. And, Ebisu can only do so much. Konohamaru is still limited by his young age. I remember that Kakashi was shocked to see Sasuke use a Katon jutsu, saying that someone his age shouldn't have chakra that's developed enough to perform such a technique. It'll be some time before Konohamaru can truly call himself Naruto's rival. |

Neji and Gaara both had a very simplistic, single-minded view of the world. Kakashi was a stuck-up brat, as was Sasuke. Shino and Hanabi didn't have enough screen time to have shown their maturity. Now, if you mean maturity in their abilities as ninja, then, yea, you're comparing him to Neji and Gaara, who have great natural talent; Kakashi and Sasuke, who worked harder than anyone else because they both had a chip on their shoulder; and Shino and Hanabi, who we can't be sure why they're as good as they are. |

What I mean by mature is not cause trouble for adults, running around and being a joker. Just like Naruto. And Konohamaru may be by far the most perverted character in Naruto. Jiraiya is perverted, but at a likable level, Konohamaru is just... I donno, wrong. Out of the list of my last post. I actually thought Hanabi may have a chance to shine in Shiipuden, maybe as Konohamaru's team mate or something, which could be interesting. (I notice that Hanabi is a few years younger, but she should be able to graduate faster ) Anyway, I always think, Naruto is... a repeated student for 3 years right? Why is Sasuke and Sakura not graduate before him? Or are they all repeat students? from the flashback, it's clearly shown Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto is in Ninja school at the same age, then... Plot holes? ShaolinRibeiro said: tehnominator said: When the mangaka dies. Naruto will end the day it stops making massive amounts of money...which means it will probably outlive its creator. Is there other managa/anime outlived the creator besides Doraemon? I'm rather interested to know. Well, one should keep in mind that most famous manga creators are still very much alive, and most of the really huge franchises only began in the 80's, so Doraemon probably remains one of the best examples. That being said, HnK is a series which continues to spawn any number of original manga side-stories, OVAs, and movies over 25 years after its initial release, all done by people other than Buronson and Hara. (Some are pretty good, others not so much...) I mean, as long as the franchise is profitable, why not? |

Plot holes? Well, Naruto failed the graduation test three times. Now, we don't know for sure if that test happens annually. It could be quarterly, and the students are required to meet certain prerequisites before taking it. Now, the only way I can make sense of all this is if Naruto would have somehow met those prerequisites before Sasuke and Sakura did. Because, otherwise, Sasuke and Sakura would have failed three times in a row, as well. And if they did, then it would make no sense for everyone to consider Naruto a failure. |

Hmm... I think it is slowly moving at the moment towards the conclusion with the way everything is happening and how everyone is slowly meeting at one point. My best bet would be in 1 to 2 years (The story is taking quiet some time after all). |

If Dragonball Z can end in 1995 and is currently still pulling in the money. I'm pretty sure Naruto is capable of doing the same. End the series. Continue on with video games, movies, action figures, novels. Wait a few years...and return to the manga after a few year hiatus and the money should start pouring in like crazy. |

I think the story is slowly reaching the climax, but that may take a while. before it ends, PLZ make kakashi do something significant again... maybe killing a key akatsuki member or something? |
