I am on the fourth episode, and would keep going...But it is getting way late. Anyway This show is pretty awesome. I'm really glad I decided to watch it. Anyone else feel the same?

Well...I would like to say it rocks, but after reading the manga and watching Ultimate, I can't really say so, can I?
Try the manga and Hellsing Ultimate, and you will see why... :D

Yeah I am going to get the Ultimate ones here soon. Thought I would watch the TV series first... If that stuff is better then this...My mind will explode in the awesomeness :).

the show turned sour towards the end. it just wasn't as compelling as the first couple of episodes. your better off reading the manga and watching the OVAs.

I watched the TV series first. I liked it better than Ultimate but that's probably only because I saw it first. I did think the animation is cooler in the TV series, though.

Just finished recently the last episode and I'm still confused in this ending. XD I know that it doesn't happen like that in the manga, but why is it like that in the end? Can someone explain what happened in the last part? XD

I'm just loving this because of Alucard...How can one guy be so awesome!?

He is pretty much the best. I just finished it earlier on myself. Onto the OVA's now XD

^Definitely a good idea to watch the series before the OVAs or the manga. It's what I did, and if I didn't, I'd have disliked the series. This way, I saw a series I loved, and then saw it even better. No disappointment!

The series has a very different feel, and should be appreciated independantly. The soundtrack is amazing, it's a little more serious, Alucard's mystique is more prominent, and it introduces you very well.

you really have to be in the right mood to watch it and appreciate it. im still at the first episode ^^.

im on episode 5 and im not really liking it all that much so far

I absolutely loved it as well. Careful though, don't be watching it in Japanese because it has arguably the best English dub of all time.

And I may be in the minority, but after re-watching both Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate three times each, Hellsing has a bit more value to it. More music to enjoy, more dialogue to enjoy, and more story to enjoy. However, Hellsing Ultimate does the action right. That doesn't mean Ultimate is much worse than Hellsing though. If I were to compare them, I would put Hellsing with only a very slight advantage over Hellsing Ultimate.

I definitely did not have this same opinion after my first-watch-through of each. Originally I had thought Ultimate was much better. Weird how that works.

'cept the English dub doesn't have Norio, and Norio is pure winsauce. No show with Norio in the cast can ever be dubbed because nobody else can ever compare to his epic level of pwnsome.

I just love Hellsing, it's great. I watched it 5 times and I could watch it again, because I never get bored of it. It has the best atmosphere I've ever seen, and the best music I've ever heard. I still prefer it over Hellsing Ultimate. I've watched it in 3 languages (English, Japanese and German) and I must admit that I prefer the German dub.

Seen everything. Pretty bad to be honest. It got me really disapointed.

Meh. This series is okay. I can't seem to find the actual plot. Every episode is about different things. But I guess that's okay because Alucard always shows up. <3
