Maybe not all people like manga..? Didn't you think about that kind of situation? For example I can't read manga.. I need colours, movements, sounds and emotions.. I tried reading manga but it's just not my piece of cake.

I don't mind waiting five or ten years. It'll come out eventually and it'll be truly awesome. I'll wait. I have many many other things to do with my time. I'll just continue to re-watch ippo/movie/movie/ippo challenger in the cycle at least once every six to nine months. Just like I'd been doing prior to challenger coming out. It was a total surprise to me but I added it to my collection without hesitation.

I just hope it doesn't end up like that trigun game planet gunsmoke or duke nukem. On hold. Forever.

Well I have done that cycle 7-8 times already xD Of course I started doing it long time ago, when there was no hajime no ippo new challenger. But now I just can't rewatch it, even if it is so awesome, I want to spend my anime watching time on others anime, not for rewatching a series which I saw many times... I just don't feel good with wasting my time on rewatching the anime. I tried to read manga but it is just not for me... I want more moves, faster temp and sound. Oh well, hope it will come out soon.

My guess is they are not going to release anything until theres another high point in the manga, like Ippo taking the OPBF title or something like that, and its going to be some time before that happens.

So keep reading the manga to know when to expect something.

Ippo first season- Ippo takes the japan belt
Ippo second season - Takamura takes the World Jr. Middle Weight belt

Any new news on season 3?? It bin ova a year since they leaked that they were recording for season 3 but there is still on offical release date of the anime??

Sales and popularity wise, this show did not do so well..

Hopefully they didn't cancel this :O
