Did you enjoy Animax-Asia English dub of this anime?
| I just watch the first 2 episodes of Hayate the Combat Butler in English dub by Animax -Asia. This is the first time i watch the Hayate anime and it was very funny. The dub was very good and so were the jokes especially the announcer who i read is done by Norio Wakamoto in Japanese dub but in this English dub, he's done by a British guy and i just love the snarky comments that he makes. But my favorite dub voice was happen to be Maria, i just love her English accent. So what's your opinion about the Animax dub? (Remember, this is not the English dub from Bandai.) PS.I read there are two different version of this anime, so can anyone tell me the difference since there was this one joke told by the head butler who's keeps saying something but it gets bleep out a lot. |

| Sorry to ask an out-of-topic question Just want to know the aspect ratio of this anime on shown Animax 16:9 or 14:9? Here in Hong Kong, the original free-to-air channel going to broadcast Hayate changed its plan so i wonder if Animax HK will broadcast soon... nice to see Animax did a great job on Eng dub from your post :) |

I not much of a tech expert but i think its 14;9 i think since i have a 16:9 LCD and there are bars on the top & bottom of the screen. Hope that helps. Also whats the difference between the Broadcast version & DVD version of Hayate the Combat Butler? Because i think i seeing the BC ver since the announcer keeps making jokes on how they can't show that or its being censored. |

| Finally finish watching the 1st season in dub & it was great. I wish this was on DVD or something so could watch it again. |

I wouldn't care at all who they used as long as I enjoyed their voices for the characters. |
