Damn, Reiji looks fucking hot at the end. >.> I skipped through the recapped parts, but that ending was pretty epic (though the whole cult thing was a little random...haha couldn't help thinking of some ancient vampire order or something ;P)
Still, I'm looking forward to see where this is going now.
Why the recap, WHY?! And then there looks to be an annoying new girl. More cutesy than killer, and she looks typically female side-kick-y [in animes]. Even down to the bunches. Gah, Ein was so much better! And now Reiji looks like hes going to be all over Ms.McCunnen? Greeeeat. Huge personality change there. I mean its expected, after such trauma, but hes going in a little at the deep end. And here I was enjoying the psychology of Ein and Zwei *sighs*
Zwei, well i guess i should say Reiji now was badass at the end, besides that pretty solid episode nothing spetacular, i wonder when Ein will come back as much as she pissed me off with nearly getting Reiji killed the show wouldn't be the same without her, looking foward to the next episode.
So 3/4 of the episode was recap. Thank god I didn't have to wait a week to watch the next episode so I didn't mind much. The suspense is killing me... is Ein actually dead...? I swear to god that ruins my only chance of seeing romance in this Anime!? FUCK LIFE. (huuuuge romance fan right here) >:(
i must admit i think all together i watched around 4-5mins of this episode, mostly re-cap, but Zwei at the end was a total new breed of bad-ass, but I hate Claudia..... i'm guessing this means Ein is dead though? if she is.... im going to be sorely disappointed :/
Zwei is the new Phantom but Scythemaster is alive and scheming together with the Godou family in Japan, so he's bound to return and want revenge on Claudia McCullen. And I bet he'll have Ein with him. All kinds of carnage is coming up.
“If it were a third-rate TV anime, a dead protagonist can come back to life at the producers’ convenience. But the world we live in is not such a convenient place. Lost lives will never return. Because of it, we live in a world where a life is an irreplaceable existence.”
It was cool to get a recap of the entire arc like that. They fit in bits and pieces of what's been happening over the 3 months for inferno, and even Scythe. We also got a good insight on Claudia's past/motivation.
Oh yeah..... Reiji is back! The new design on him looks wicked and with that look in his eyes, he has truly succeeded the name PHANTOM. That OST must be Reiji's theme as well, freaking epic.
Hm a recap, mostly in Claudia's perspective. That ending almost made Inferno seem like a cult :) That outfit Reiji had on at the end made him seem more like a mafia boss than an assassin. I miss his assassin outfit. I do wonder how he's still alive, even though it's obvious he didn't die.
Hate recap episodes, and hate recap episodes with new content making it so you can't skip them even more. Meh. Doesn't seem like the Reiji we have seen so far would just give up and become Phantom after all that has happened either.
Reiji is now the prime Phantom and seem to have moved on. Or did he?
It look like he get a new partner on the next episode.

Hmm, I am not fan of recaps.. but at least there were some bits of story in it.. though very confusing. I got they killed her brother Romero and there was funeral and shee took vengeance after that - but why was he killed.. I don't know. I hope they do flashback about recent events in one of future eps.
But at least one good thing in the end... finally, Cal!
Well, it was mostly just a summary. They should've at least explained how Reiji survived, he was shot multiple times in the back and fell into the sea. How can anyone survive that? and Im pretty sure Elen is still alive.
