Then it proceeds with the story three months later with the lead? of Claudia. Zwei is alive and has become Claudia's phantom at the end of the ep. |

| Hmmm 3/4 of recap in this episode, and I don't really like the direction the show is taking. If it weren't for the Claudia and Reiji scene in the preview, I would be pissed right now ;) |

| Horrible episode. This is the first time this series has really disappointed me. Seriously why would you make a summary episode (it was pretty much 20 minutes of summary and 4 minutes of new content) when there have only been 10 episodes? stupid. I ended up watching around half of it before i just skipped until the recap was mostly done. I can't get over what a huge letdown this episode was since i was REALLY looking forward to what would happen after last episodes epic cliffhanger. The new content in this episode can be summed up as follows: Scythe master still alive, Reiji still alive and becomes new phantom (although nothing is shown about how he went from nearly dead on beach to doing test assignment for the title), Claudia still trying to use reiji. I was at least expecting a scene on why he went back to inferno. maybe "i'll be your phantom if you help me look for ellen/eren/ein" or "i don't have anywhere else to go so i'll be your phantom" or even a crappy "oh Claudia i love you so i'll be your phantom." Instead it just happens and we get some inferno command talk about nothing much. PS i HATE summary episodes and "ineffective flashbacks," both of which this episode was full of. |

| Even though a recap, I felt like this was one of the most exciting eps so far. I felt like I was watching a really good show. It's possible that I'm slow, but this was the first time I noticed how great the music was, and how well it matched the scenes. With that said, they better resurrect Ein real fast!! |
| Falatorx: I understand your frustration, and I would have wished to go without recap parts, too - but alas. The reason why they added the scenes here: Because we're about to change from chapter 1 to chapter 2 (of 3 total). At least it put Claudia in perspective. Looking forward to the second chapter (which is actually much better than the first) |

| Pretty good for a recap episode, but that doesn't really say much. It shows what the production deems important when they shove off very important characterization for Claudia off into an episode like this and leaving out any explanation for Zwei (this is what Claudia called him) coming back to Phantom. Quite disappointing. |
| I wouldn't have rated this episode 5/5 if it wasn't for Reiji's new & improved hotness. I love his longer hair! And I still wonder if Elen is really dead or not, it does seem like she's dead. |

| Didn't like the fact that it's going to be recap (obvious from the start) but not a bad episode nevertheless. And damn, Reiji looks fracking awesome in that suit with that look. I kinda miss Ein. If she really is dead, I just hope they don't forget about her like many anime made mistake of forgetting important character which died. Btw, am I the only one suspecting Romeros death has something with Claudias plan? I suspect his death has something to do with Inferno, and she wants revenge on those responsible. For that she needs strong backup, that's why all the planning. I may be wrong, but still.... Great show so far, one of the rare shows lately which really caught my attention. |
| A well put together recap for those who arn't following the show. Is Ein really gone? and what's up with a hippie Scythe master? I hope Renji slaps that new girl around she has an annoying voice in the preview. |
| Oh man Reiji looked totally pimpin with his mafia look at the end and the BGM was so lolz awesome. But I hope they're not going to start putting some loli moe in Phantom with the new girl next week. |

| One of my gripes with this series: they finally get some momentum going (e.g. with a good cliffhanger) and then they lose it completely. In other words, they lose the chance to do something majorly awesome and stunning with the plot but allow it to disappear by doing something like a recap episode. After, what, 10 episodes? Sorry, but my memory isn't so bad that I need to rewatch a summary of just 10 episodes, especially since a lot of the stuff they showed didn't really add anything to this new story arc, as far as I could tell. I was bored to tears by the first 15 minutes or so and was ready to just close my tab and get on with my studying. The last five minutes, however, were pretty good. I just wish they would have done it sooner rather than after 15 minutes of scenes we've already seen >.> |
| I'm a bit confused as to why Renji would just join Inferno again. If he's fighting for revenge then he should just go hunt Scythe master on his own. If he's doing it just for the sake of killing people, then why not hunt down Inferno members in staid? It would be way more entertaining for us and for him since clearly his current opponents suck. I cant predict where this story is heading without knowing his reasons. I hope they answer that next episode. PS. wtf was up with those swords and robes lol. For a second I thought this turned into a different show. Speaking of different show it looks like Renji gets a girl partner next episode that sounds annoying. I hope they don't turn it into one of those shows. |

| I don't really like recap episodes that much and didn't really enjoy the few minutes that was new. I hope that Elen/Ein is still alive because there is still so much that I want to know about her. |

| Phantom has three chapters, and we're just traversing from the first to the second one. And I give Phantom high credit that in the game version it resembled three shows which came out with alot of success later: Oh, and by general consensus of the game fans, chapter 1 is commonly considered to be the weakest of all. So, there are good times ahead ^_^ |

| This recap is how the real show should have been: 10 episodes for all that stuff are too many, most of the time Ein and Zwei were doing nothing, in my opinion. That said, a collage is a collage, I can't say much I already didn't (except maybe we saw a couple of new scenes of Claudia), and I generally hate recaps. The ending was slightly intriguing, but I hoped for more, and that ceremony with swords and capes was utterly ridiculous, it completely killed the mood. I didn't watch the preview, I prefer watching an episode anew, so this week's Phantom was a complete delusion to me. |

| Lol, even though this episode is mostly recap I still loved it. Ending was just superb. Preview looked great too. Man I love this anime. |

| bah I personally think it was a waste to recap and give us a few minutes a new material. Shoulda have jumped right into Reji's succession as Phantom and continued on. Despite what happened in the previous episode, I still want to see how this series turns out. Reji seems like such a badass now even more so. lol |
