| I've seen all three, Air, Clannad, and Kanon (2006). Now that I look back on Air, it wasen't too great. Clannad I just recently finished. Very funny, but the girl the main character chose pissed me off. And even though Kanon just made no sense in the end. I still like it the best for some reason :/ |

| I'm gonna have to say Clannad is first, Kanon second, and Air third. I like Clannad more because it has very apect the others do plus comedy. Clannad was the first anime that made me laugh out loud. Kanon second because there's more depth into each character's story and all the characters are different from each other and enjoyable. Air is third because although it's the saddest of the three (After Story i well on it's way to topping it), I didn't like most of the characters, Yukito and Misuzu being the only excepts. | I think it's still too early for this poll, Clannad isn't finished yet so it's unfair to compare it with two completed anime, and the best things are still coming. If Kyoani does a good job, I can see Clannad as the best of those three in terms of story. Animation/presentation-wise Kanon is a bit better than Clannad, but the latter is much longer so it's more difficult to uphold the high animation standard. I think that all three of them are masterpieces, but at this point I go for Kanon. |
| Hey look I balanced out the poll between Kanon and Clannad xD Clannad 177 43.17% Kanon (your vote) 177 43.17% Kanon was more sad than Clannad was to me, and while Air was probably supposed to deliver the most emotional hits, the short episode count doesn't really get you to that point. With 24 episodes, Kanon can get you to the point of "wtf T_T" at least twice (well, twice for me anyway). I'll probably watch Air once more these days, and see if I feel any different, but I'm not really sure about that. |

| Whoa, what am I doing here? Hmmmm, well I hated Air and I've never seen Kanon and never will because these kind of series are not my thing. I don't know what made me check out Clannad, but I did and I enjoyed it alot. I've only seen about 15 episodes though. I'm waiting for the dvds to come out. |

| Clannad, not a doubt in my mind when I saw the poll. I love both Kanon(2006) and Clannad almost equally, but Clannad wins because of Okazaki Tomoya and Sunohara combanation is far too interesting compared to the male cast of Kanon. As for females, Mai and Shiori is up with kyou, Nagisa, Kotomi and Tomoyo. Plot wise, Kanon, although the Ayu arc is kinda weak. Comedy wise... I think we all have to agree with Clannad. Character wise, Clannad, I already stated the reasons above. Music... Clannad's wins, not saying Kanon is bad (In fact I love them, especially Mai's theme), but Clannad's music is just far too great. I was at the verge of thinking Kanon might be my new favorite show, Ayu's arc is just too weak, thus giving Clannad the edge. If Ayu arc was as good as Mai's or Shiori's I'd definitely go for Kanon as my favorite of the 3. I believe that AIR need a 24 episode remake. The show just seem very rushed to me, I can't really develop much love for any of the characters, besides Haruko and Misuzu. The other cast just introduced, then give a crisis, then solved, not much story about them. However, AIR is a very beautiful show nonetheless. Clannad After Story >> Clannad > Kanon(2006) >> AIR |

| I would say because the other two are more complete than Clannad, Clannad has a slightly smaller edge than the other two. However, if anything, Clannad excelled in the character department; and the fact that there was after story and more well rounded, focused plot and thematics made Clannad slightly better than Air and Kanon, although all three were great. |

| Very varied opinions o this, but I'm going to say Clannad because of its themes, although Air and Kanon get special mention because they are more of a "drama" at this point. Clannad has better comedy though. |

| Well now, is it truly fair if you're going to post a Clannad VS Kanon VS Air poll when you're posting it on a Clannad forum and the Kanon fans don't see it (even then you'll have to go to page 2). It's pretty impressive Kanon got 200 votes in a Clannad forum. Like a guy said just now, posting this in the Clannad forum guarantess Clannad winning :S |
