| Necro'd quasi listing thread, eh. Cool. I gotta go with Rahxephon's ending theme. A sublime track that not only evokes the romantic spirit of the series, but stands in sharp contrast to the hyperspeed, crap battle rock/pop so often attached to action shows. I loved the visual simplicity too, and when the music is superimposed on the painting it made for one emotive pairing. |

| Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun's op by far the best overall OP I've seen. Great video composition and music, with the video matching the music tempo switches beautifully. Never skipped it once. So far out of the anime I've watched, the only show where I've actually HAD to sit through both OP and ED because the music was so good was Arakawa under the bridge. The ED video is meh but the OP video is good. |

| One of my favorites comes from Hanamaru Youchien by Studio GAINAX. Each ED is different, but the one that caught my eye and ear is this tribute to the film "A bout de Souffle," or "Breathless" in English, by French new-wave director Jean-Luc Godard: Oh, and a tribute to Schroeder from Peanuts, of course. All the EDs in this show are sung by the seiyuu using their "little girl" voices. |
