| How did she not give into despair? She essentially was living for nothing and was fighting for nothing, and had a horrible past and her wish was actually the cause of everything bad that happened to her. So uhhhh how did she not give into despair? Is it just because she is mondo badass? |
| Because Kyoko was a stronger person. She also in a way abandon her humanity a bit, i.e. letting familiars kill humans, to farm grief seeds. Out of all the girls she is probably mentally the strongest, its one of the reasons why, Homura trusts her far more than any other character. |

If you read Madoka Magica Different Story, her family's death happens during the manga(chapter 3), and shes like 12, though her age is never given though she is younger than Mami by least a year(who I'm guessing by the fact shes in her school uniform, shes like 14 at least). |

Hmm.... hmm.... oh i must have been talking about when she made the contract, cause she was young. though being 12-13 still doesn't explain how she wouldn't plummet into chaos when her whole reason for fighting witches was so abruptly destroyed. in fact, this raises a few questions for me... |
