But Static-X is easily the greatest band ever IMO. Wayne Static has a porn star for a wife, his own signature guitar, IS FUCKING SICK LIVE!!!, and his hair is awesome too. |

| Slayer are the best band out of the whole Bay Area Movement, and they stayed true to themselves, never stopped making heavy shit, unlike most Thrash bands from they're movement who slowed down because they started getting old. CoB? That's weak man, I have seen British pop bands heavier then them. Lemmy is the man, he bangs a lotta chicks, he is father of 1/5 of England's population, and he runs on alcohol, he should be dead by now considering the way he drinks and smokes, and him just counting his drinking and smoking on stage, and without Motorhead metal wouldn't be what it is today, they influenced a lot of bands. Porn star wife, Evan Seinfeld also has a porn star for a wife and he still sucks. Nowadays everyone has there own signature model and that doesn't mean they're good, and ya he looks pretty sick, with that hair of his he looks like a nut case. |

| Ok dude, Slayer sounds pretty much the same on every record, it gets boring after a while IMO. I'll admit the guitarist is nuts, but the singer isn't that good anymore, he's just too fucking old. Bodom is awesome. Idfc what anyone says, Laiho is one of the best and youngest guitarists out there. Hell yeah, he's like Ghengis Khan of the modern day. (Khan is supposed to have over 4,000 children) shit that's a lot of ancestors... Yeah, but he is good, his guitar is sick, and he stays true to himself and his band. |

| One of the joys of listening to Slayer is the lyrical part and how sick they're (or were) and it's their sound, they don't change much, yes, but they have they're sound and they are recognized for it, so why change? Whenever you hear the intro to a Slayer you know it's them instantaneously. Scales can only take a person so far, but yah, the kid is good, not the best or one of the best, but still good, I find Michael Keene better, but that is just a personal opinion. |

| Just saying he's really good for his age. Although his singing isn't the best from the get go, songs like "Living Dead Beat" or rather the whole "Are You Dead Yet?" album is great. The best work they put out to date. For more experienced guitar players I personally think Dave Mustaine is the best. He can play thrash or melodic and is awesome. He pretty much wrote "Kill 'Em All" back in the day when he was with Metallica. But other than that John 5 is amazing too. He to is great. He doesn't stick to one style and I like that about him. Zakk Wylde too. |

| Seeing how Lars and Hetfield like to run a dictatorship and Dave isn't doesn't like to follow anyones rules he would leave anyway, I say around the Black Album, where success started to rush to Hetfield's and Lars's heads and I feel the Cliff would at some point leave to make his own band, he had the talent to do so much more, and if he stayed in Metallica his ability's wouldn't have been fully explored. We are getting way out of topic here... |

| IMO, everything after the black album was awful. They started putting out pussy shit with Load and ReLoad. St. Anger was a disgrace to music everywhere. Megadeth's newest album is rumoured to release in September. I'm pre-ordering it as soon as more details are released. Chris Broderick is easily Megadeth's best guitarist, next to Dave, in the history of the band. |

| Hello!! Well, I'm AD, constantly mistaken for a male by people. My taste in anime is pretty variable. I always have one 'light-plotted' anime on my list, the thing I don't watch is moe anime, don't know what the genre is called. ~Oh yeah, this harem shit. My favorite scenes in anime basically are, where a person gets his knees blown to bits. I'm hanging on the darker side of the music (gothic metal, hardcore, industrial), not that much of an oldschool metal bro, and I listen to a lot of soundtracks. I love classical action movies and comedies. I have had a few manly concert experiences during my short life, those were Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit. Other than that shit, I am your manly little sis, peace! |

I have also done things that could be considered manly--played football my whole life, from the time I was 10 until I was 27 (played college and semi-pro). Trained MMA for 2 years. I've been docile for a few years and NEED the aggressive/competitive edge or else I'll go crazy. Oh, Zen, good to see female influence in a male-dominated club. A bit of a paradox, but cool anyway. |

| This is my attempt to become more active on MAL, as I have a tendency to do nothing but lurk. *ahem* Hiya everyone, the name's Shii, I was invited here by sage Kold the other month, so I figure I should finally introduce myself! I've been a fan of anime in general for the past 15+ years now, and have a tendency to lean towards 80's or late 90's series with stuff like Legend of the Galactic Heroes or Armor Hunter Mellowlink, and manga-wise Berserk has completely consumed my soul, though I'm a sucker for anything by Tsutomu Nihei, Junji Ito, or Shintaro Kago. Oh, and of course like everyone else here I'm a fan of mecha, I'm currently in love with SPT Layzner and Crossbone Gundam... and for anything else feel free to check out my profile, I keep it up to date as best as I can.
