THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Just read and finished volume one. Well...it was...Okay. I've read the writers other work Anne Freaks and loved it! But this one was just so-so, I think it could have been much better. It was just way to rushed. And I didn't like the main character Chiko, something about her bugged me. The first 2 chapters I think we're terrible, just everything happened so fast, and you have no idea who they are or what's going on, and you have no connection what so ever with any of the characters. Chiko just kept calling everyone dumb. And then you skip 8 people of the last "10" to save. I suppose it had a good meaning, though I'm still working on that. And trying to understand why "Task" didn't want to be saved. Oh well, way too short which meant it was rushed. I think if it was at least a 3 volume manga, with a bit of character development it would have turned out (pretty) good. |
