LOOOL FUCK SON DAMN SHEEESH BERSERK MODE MAN SHIT. Sorry I had to say that. But seriously though, what the fuck is an Evangelion? A mix of Angel and a human? Two possibilities came up in my mind when Shinji saw her mother in his "dreams". First, that it was just the moment when he was about to die and he sees his whole life right infront of him. Second is that his mother is part of his Evangelion and only comes out when Shinji becomes unconcious. Just like what happened to his first battle and in this one. Well that's just my hypothesis. Commander Ikari and that yellow-haired scientist's conversion really bugged me though. "If Rei, Asuka, and Misato knew about this, they'll be surely mad." Just what was the meaning of that? |
| I loved the physiological bits. A lot of my theories are falling into place. That the Evas are some kind of human angel hybrid. Asuka and her Unit Two being related to her mother. Shinji and his Unit One being related to his own mother. Rei being injected with Angel cels. The fact that they said "Rei and Shinji can't know the truth" implies that Asuka already knows. Meaning back when she muttered "Mother..." it was some epic foreshadowing. REALLY interested to see what exactly they meant by Shinji's fathering killing his mother, and Shinji lying about it. Next episode, When Penguins cry. |

| This is Pure MIND-RAPE. Shinji's talking to himself was Epic. It really explains the reality of life. Psychological truth. This anime is truly a bumpy roller coaster ride thats unlike any anime till now. |

| I'm not gonna say that Shinji's father may have killed his wife to create Eva01 because it seems like too much of an possibility at this point. I love the part when Rei scolded Asuka. Katsuragi's bitchslap was epic too. The scientists may be afrait of Eva01 going berserk mode but I think that this is the best part of the Evas - it gives them more personality than anything else and actually the day is saved because of it once again. |

| That. Was. Epic! You have got to love those berserk moments where the come out of nowhere and save the protagonist. It works so well with Mech-anime, too. It's godly-like. ( ^ _ ^ )b That came out of nowhere with Rei, though. Didn't expect her to rebuttal to Asuka and her ignorance. I like both of them, but, Rei is just so much cooler. Looking forward to the next! |

Asuka clearly likes Shinji but just can't bring herself to admit it...the bored kiss...the fact that she's right there with Misato in this episode when Misato opens Shinji's entry plug...that she's at Shinji's hospital room...and when Shinji got sucked into the angel I would say Asuka was in full freakout mode, not just for her own safety but she clearly was worried about Shinji... 3.) Secrets, secrets are no fun...Misato is learning this the hard way... 4.) I'm rewatching this...and this episode never gets old...EVA 01 is scary when it goes berserk... 5.) Rei seems to have the inside track on everyone doesn't she? |

| EVA unit 01 pulls quite a bloody Kool Aid man maneuver here. This is perhaps one of my favorite episodes where shogoki goes berserk and just utterly defeats an angel. |

| Wow this was crazy episode. Thoughts from Episode 16 First everybody having good time. And Misato seems now dating Kaji. LoL that phone message typical Kaji :DD That new Angel which they couldn't identify yet which weapon is to create imaginary space "Sea Of Dirak" it really was mind blowing. Shinji almost cracked his own mind if his mother wouldn't been there. Luckily his alright. This is really nightmare form seeing own memories and talking with ownself good stuff in psychological form. I guess Shinji's mother is direct link for EVA's and ADAM. At least now Asuka Ritsuko and everyobody at NERV saw how dangerous EVA's can be when they enter that Bersek Mode. That blood and Unit 01 was shouting like in pain like it has a soul. Oh man this show is getting good. I am still amazed how did Shinji managed to get out from that imaginary space. Did his mother save him or was it something else. That berserk mode reminded me of another anime called Monster same kind of stuff happened to another character also. Also Asuka badmouthing Shinji was not nice Rei sure seemed angry. Asuka however likes Shinji that can't be denied anymore. Let's see what is coming next... |

| All that stuff about the Dirac Sea and, I think, the Cartesian Self/Cartesian Other was weird. I'm not sure if it feels like they're throwing out scientific jargon pretentiously or to actually create interesting invaders or not, though. I'm glad we're finally getting a little more information about the angels. |

| Man, there were some serious shits going on in this episode. And awkwardly, it took me a little time and a little research to realize that it was Unit-01 that killed the angel. All in all, I liked this episode. |

| Best part: Shinji breaks out -flashes to everyone's intense and surprised faces... and then there's Rei's (which looks the same as always)- Hmmm what do they mean about the Eva's secrets? I bet it's got something to do with humans/blood since Shinji said it smelt like blood. Human sacrifices? It's not their own blood so who's blood is it? |

| I'm....I'm speechless. Fantastic episode. Shinji almost died and seen his mother's ghost. That berserker mode or whatever you call it, holy crap! This episode was great! P.S. First episode in 19 days that I watched, I'm definitely going to have to rewatch it from the beginning again one day. I remember mostly everything I've watched before but I'll definitely marathon it one day to experience the entire anime in a day (if not 2 days). |
