| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- rofl. neko neko neko neko uugu~ I'm pretty sure makoto and ayu are both abandoned or something... Just by the fact that they were both found wondering around without food and Yuuirchi has never seen Ayu's house :P Somethings up, I know it! But on another note, does anyone else get the feeling while watching this, that the whole show is a replay of some kinda dating sim? hahaha. Each girl has specific spots where he goes to, to see them, at specific times. You get these "events", you got your required-for-harem swordswoman... :P Seems all very textbook. Anyway, this was a good episode, like most of them very moe, with the uguu~'s and the auuu~'s (Are those 2 sister's or something? lol). Moving on! |

| um yea Kanon was based on a dating sim. in fact many of the "textbook" attributes that dating sims have these days were pioneered by Kanon back in 1999 and then ripped off and copied to other games, which is why Kanon these days seems a bit trite sometimes. |
| Well all i can say is that i love this show.... It really reminds me of Clannad(most ppl its the oppposite i know) And it has best Lolis evah :) |

| man when she dropped that cat i was [retty pissed but i guess luckily it lands on a truck but still that was shocking... yeah i guess i haven't really played any dating sims so it's not that trite for me yet... but on other note i have a weird feeling that the fox is going to cause some sadness later on in this show..., or maybe it was just false foreshadowing |

She never had a good common sense anyways... This was a good episode. Shocked a little in the bridge scene. But i didn't like when Mai reveals the correct place... It looks forced. I thought another character would do that, the same one from the previous Kanon version (2002) who knew Makoto's secret. Anyway, i liked that episode. |

| ok i just figured out that makoto and ayu are very simmilar and i expect alot of supernatural stuff with these two in the near future :) something like makoto is a dream or something xD anyway this episode is maybe the worst yet...i didn't really like it and i realised from the 1st second that makoto will throw the cat from the bridge because she was keeping it very awkward... |

| I really liked this episode, though there were spots where I felt the dating-sim structure too much, like Yuuichi going through the same routine each day, meeting the same girls at just about the same time. But I feel there's a wind of change in the air... Home Sweet Home I'm surprised nobody mentioned the scene where Makoto has returned home and slowly realizes how lucky she is, how she has a home and "family". I liked how KyoAni tried to visualize her sense of "warm radiance" by making the characters appear bright, blurry and up close at first, before she "zooms out" and sees the full picture (nice visual metaphorism) Cat-Droppage Incident Everybody's going crazy about that, I never doubted the cat would survive. Makoto finding and taking care of the cat later isn't a contradiction - Yuuichi scolded her A LOT and I guess it did make her re-think her actions in the end. Together with the moment of family-love, she seems to be changing already. |

| "Yuichi, you idiot," this bitch says in her moe moe kyun voice after dropping a fucking cat onto a road. As if I needed more of a reason to hate her. It's good she made up with the cat but she easily could have killed it. |
| Great episode! The beginning with the jam was so funny and Nayuki wanting to pet the cat was quite funny as well, she reminds me "Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga" from "Azumanga Daioh" that stare less look when she want's something :p The scene with Makoto and the neko on top of her head was rather kawaii :p Though a sad scene when Makoto let's the neko fall of the bridge, other than from the 2002 version is that Yuuichi doesn't hit Makoto though mostly the same happens that she doesn't come home! Though interesting that Mai guides Yuuichi to the hill instead of his intuition! The ending was much like the old version it was quite nice though, in this version you do see more of the impact it has on Makoto's behavior to Yuuichi. Another great episode up to the next one! |

| Yeah that bit about dropping the cat was pretty messed up, it was funny cause when I saw her holding the cat over the railing I kept thinking what if she dropped the cat? Other than that that fox was pretty scary, just staring at them with those beady yellow eyes. |

| Yeah...no, I won't forgive Makoto for dropping the cat. I'm not much of a cat liker, but I would never hurt one. I knew the cat was gonna survive it, but it still makes me angry at her. I'm kind of happy though that Yuuichi had enough self-control to don't hit her, even though how stupid she was. I really wonder what's up with every girl in this town, I mean all the weirdness around them. I have a few ideas, but they all seem unlikely. |

| Makoto's starting to annoy me BIG time.....the late night pranks are't even funny/cute anymore, from the looks of ep, the pranks should stop. I just find her annoying overall. That was a DANGEROUS way to hold a cat, Even before she dropped it, I knew something like that could happen, not cooool -_- If her hand slip, the cat would fall.....really 0 common sense? Ayu's much better, less Makoto please.... |

| I almost had an heart attack when she dropped the cat. But for some reason, I can really be mad at her because she doesn't seem to realise her act. Makoto's always acting like a child because she is one. She seem to have never been educated properly. From the next episode title, I guess it will be the end of the arc Makoto. Also, this is just speculation, but what I think happened to Makoto is that her family maybe had an accident and she's now an orphan. But she's amnesic and for some reason she only remember Yuuichi, so he must had an important impact on her life at that time. The girl know her so it was maybe a classmate or even a cousin. But in any ways, she doesn't seem to have an house or even a family. |
