| These girls shoulda just joined a cooking club, thats all they really do... I really wanted to like this show, but it is kind of dull when they just sit and eat... I mean they are still doing the whole "cutesy thing" which is ok, but it is kind of wearing thin and I don't see much growth from the characters yet.. I hope the show picks up a bit.. -_- |

| Some slightly new OP scenes to include Azusa, that's a nice touch. TBH the cat ears and stuff are kind of boring to watch lol, I was hoping that Azusa would convince them to practice more ... I wanna hear more music and see them get better. All Sawa does is bring weird costumes ... D: It was nice to see Azusa actually knows how to play though, maybe that'll motivate Yui :P I guess we got that they enjoy playing together because they have fun but just the random cutesey scenes aren't doing it for me >_< Though I will say that I wasn't expecting Azusa to sound the way she does, even though I quite like her seiyuu :P Well looks like time sure flies and it's summer and training camp again. Will anything get done or is it just gonna be another swimsuit episode? I guess next episode will tell :P |

on Azunyan is really kawaii with her cat ears. She's so humble despite of playing better than Yui. The moment she snapped out was really funny. Light Music Club is definitely different from the others bands. Good to see her staying in the club. Ritsu guessing what Mio's thinking on being lonely was hilarious as well.  |

| Azusa wanted a place for her to improve her already remarkable skills in playing the guitar so she can be more like her parents but the lazy influences of the Light Music Club had let her down time after time again despite the guilty pleasure she derives from acting like the cutest neko-girl ever and eating sweets. She's actually the first semblance of drama in the anime and I like it very much. Her conflicted feelings about what opinion she should have about them was pretty heavy so I'm glad that they started to get their act together to have her stay with Mio serving as the key voice of reason to keep her from ditching them for another band. I like how they added Azusa in the opening as soon as she joined~ |

| Pleasant the atmosphere that one breathes during the whole episode, a very carefree tone pervades all the narration, which seems almost out of place the serious moment of reflection almost at the end of the episode; I didn't really expect it to be honest, Azusa's rumination about why he found it interesting to attend the K-ON club. Sawako remains incredible with her comic releases. |

| I quickly went from loving Azusa to hating Azusa. She's incontrovertibly cute, but she takes this high-school light-music club WAAAYY too seriously, like those kids in gym class who forget how to have fun and treat a casual game of kickball as if it's a deciding match in their career. The way she's thrown into the opening is clumsy and her drama is stupid. Go join the Jazz Appreciation Club. |

| azusa ~ azunyan ~~ before i knew about k-on! i always liked azusa for some reason without knowing anything about her except her character design. love the fact she's in the OP now ~ i hope she'll be in the ED eventually >< and im glad that in just one episode there was a lot of azunyan's character ~ when azusa was crying at the end >< |

| Cat girls and even more blackmail. I love this shit I think I know why I love this so much: I was expecting a moe overload and just non stop cutesy stuff. But actually I think the humour outshines everything else. This type of funny is right up my alley and just really makes this show work rather than being straight up moe “She’s the type of person” joke. They were 12 years ahead of their time LOL |

| Felt Azusa's frustrations for most of this episode since the tea drinking and cake eating might taste good but man was it tiring to watch, particularly after she wanted to join the club for serious reasons and actually wanting to play music on the forefront. She did learn about how the group can be serious but want to mess around too to have fun, which is good for her character I guess, but not the most entertaining thing to see. Not even the Azu-nyan stuff got me feeling good. |

| Weird drama with Azusa's introduction... I think it feels out of place, simply for not comprehending why she's inspired by this flawed band over better bands. Which she laters realizes through Mio that it's because to enjoy each other's company, because they're having fun as friends. I completely forgot about this moment after 2010. I think it's the only time that the anime is dramatic. At least, I don't remember any drama, since everything else is so iconic. |
